Happy 66th Years Anniversary of International Leoissm!

In 1957, the Glenside Lions Club from the U.S. state of Pennsylvania sponsored the first Leo Club “the Abington High School Leo Club” with 35 students. A decade later, the Lions Clubs International Board of Directors adopted the Leo Club Program as an official program of the Association.
Leoism is the term for the young arm of the Lions Movement, which is a global network of youth and adult working together to improve lives and have a lasting positive impact on communities.

Regular Monthly Club Meeting of Leo Club of Chittagong Blue Sky for the Leoistic Year 2023-24 was held at District Office, CLF on 30 November, 2023 Thursday.

The meeting was called to order by Club President Leo Amena Khatun and the Club Secretary (Acting) Leo Mizanur Rahman conducted the meeting as per agenda.The meeting was beginning by reciting from Holy Quran bhai Leo Niaz Muhammad.Oath of was allegiance was conducted by Leo Mohammad Mahathir Chowdhury and Leo Pledge was conducted by Leo Mayeesha Chowdhury.

On the concluding session, Appreciation Award- Top 5 "Leo of the Month September-October" given to -

The feeding of a large number of hungry people at street sides was filled with the features of lofty benevolence and humanity.

The view of feeding a large group of poverty-stricken people was touchy, eye-moistening and not encountered too often in the capital. It was because the people were visibly hungry,

"Peace & Prosperity sports competition 2023" by Leo Club of Chittagong Blue Sky
was held at North Kattoli Munshipara Govt Primary School's playground on 18 October 2023 in morning.

Students participated in a daylong sports competition which consisted of 7 events.

District Governor Ln Md M Mohiuddin Chowdhury PMJF and Vice District Governor Ln Kohinoor Kamal MJF were present as Chief guests and distributed the prizes among the winners.

Also Leo District Vice President Leo Ismail Bin Aziz Alvi, Leo District GST Coordinator Leo Nur Hossain, District Coordinator & Leo Club Director Leo Aminul Islam, RD Headquarter and Leo Club Director Leo Abdul Baset Bhuiyan were also present there.

Students gave their tremendous effort to make this event more flourished.

In the sense of " Nature for Life" Blue Sky Planted and Distribute Trees and to prevent dengue, we've done mosquito fogging activities around the school.

Also in the Slogan of "Life is Better with Clean Hands", a Hand-Wash activity held to encourage students to make clean hands a healthy habit at home and away. Handwashing is one of the best ways to avoid getting sick and spreading illness to others.

Lions International District 315-B4 brought out a colourful rally marking the October Service programs from GEC Convention to CLF premises on 1st October, 2023,Sunday.

Leo Club of Chittagong Blue Sky Joined the rally with colourful Structure, Festoons, Placards & Banner. This year the theme was "Mission for Peace & Prosperity".
Allhumdulillah We achieved 10th place in the rally competition.

Blue Sky shows the Peace icon Pigeon that holds the whole Leo District 315-B4, to bring the Prosperity. And the Prosperity comes with the Lions Int. Motto " We Serve" also with the 5 pillars of service Vision, Hunger, Diabetes, Cancer and Environment.
An Art based on rally themed was drawn,,, it shows the Peace brought out all the negative energy such as environment pollution, global warming, e.t.c and discover a new decontaminated World to us.

Special Thanks to the Leos who worked and made this rally more colourful and successful within short time, Leo Sifat-E-Mehruba, Leo Mohammad Yasin, Leo Mizanur Rahman, Leo Jamirul Islam, Leo Shakhawat Moon, Leo Umme Tanim.
And other Participants for their presence.

District Team Reception at Power Handover-Takeover Ceremony.

At the very beginning of the ceremony, Leo's of Blue Sky welcomed honorable Guests with floral greetings.
Also a small token of PEACE and Love was given to the respected guests.

During the ceremony, Honourable Guests were given necessary guidance to the Leo's through their speech.

!Power Handover-Takeover, District Team Reception and Monthly Meeting" of Leo club of Chittagong Blue Sky was held on the 29September 2023.

On this program, the chief guest was Leo Clubs Chairman Ln AKM Nabiul Haque Chowdhury. Also Special Guest Leo District Past President Leo-Ln Shahriar Iqbal was present.

From our parent club, Lions Club of Chittagong Blue Sky, Leo Club Co- Advisor Ln Istiaq Mahmood MJF, Past President Ln Capt. Shimul Datta MJF, President Ln Suman Barua, Secretary Ln Suman Das
were present.

Among the other guests were District President Leo Atik Shahriar Sadif, Leo District IPP Leo Irfan Mostafa and Leo District Secretary Leo Showkat Hossin, Leo District Treasurer Leo Md Rafid Ahnaf , GMT Coordinator Leo Dipta Dey, GST Coordinator Leo Nur hossain, District Joint Secretary Leo Anup Kumar Das,District Coordinator & Leo Club Director Leo Aminul Islam were also present.

The first session was presided by Leo Mohammad Al Faisal. Leo Mayeesha Chowdhury was the Master of Ceremony. Recitation of Holy Quran was recited by Leo Mohammad Mahathir Chowdhury. Oath of allegiance was conducted by Leo Umme Tanim. Leo Pledge was conducted by Leo Hasna Hena.

The second session was presided by our new club president Leo Amena Khatun . Leo Parvez Sharkar was the master of ceremony.

An Appreciation Award Based on Activity was given to the Leos.

Best wishes for our New President to achieve the goals and overcome the challenges with grand success.
