B-Briddhi is a gender-inclusive programme supporting a thriving impact ecosystem in where impact enterprises can grow and scale. This programme is supported by and implemented by Roots of Impact and LightCastle Partners

We are excited to share that we have been selected for the first cohort of Orange Corner Bangladesh.

We believe this will help us grow in a more sustainable manner by creating real social Impact.

Celebration of first day of Spring by the VIL team..

Let’s tell you about an interesting story that’s been unfolding at Crony Group factory Abanti Colour Tex at Naraynganj. It’s a story of empathy and inclusiveness.

It’s a story of how every stakeholder in an initiative is taking part to challenge the status quo of social stigma. BGMEA Director and Chairperson of Crony Group, Neela Ara took the initiative first. She came forward to establish Jyoti solution at her factory to ensure easier access to feminine hygiene products for the female workers. She ensured 20 taka subsidy on a full pack of sanitary napkin of market price 35 taka for each female worker at her factory. From Vertical Innovations Limited end we have ensured further 10% discount. Now female workers at the factory can buy full pack of sanitary napkins with bKash Limited payment only at 12 taka. The most interesting factor is the male colleagues at the factory are helping their female colleagues with bKash payments. This is something is much needed to challenge the prevailing social stigma around menstrual hygiene management in Bangladesh where only 30% of the female population are under maintaining proper period hygiene.

We need more males to come forward to support this feminine hygiene cause. We need more He for She. And so we are involving both male and female colleagues of ours to build the Jyoti platform stronger ever.

Great to be in the Cohort

Raise-Up 2.0, a cohort of B-Briddhi's Voucher Scheme program, is a gender-inclusive program served by Turtle Venture dedicated to supporting a thriving impact ecosystem in Bangladesh where impact enterprises can grow and scale. This program is supported by the Embassy of Switzerland in Bangladesh and implemented by Roots of Impact and LightCastle Partners.

This year we will be working with six fantastic impact enterprises on their Investment Readiness (IR) and Impact Measurement and Management (IMM), the highest numbers in the history of B-Briddhi!

Today we have participated in Digital Innovation fair organized by Gazipur DC office at Gazipur. We have displayed our intelligent vending solution Jyoti specifically designed for feminine hygiene products for establishment at any educational institution.

The honorable DC of Gazipur has seen in details of our working principal and appreciated. He shown his keen interest to set up the solution in at least 35 educational institutions in Gazipur district.

Thanks to CARE Bangladesh for giving us the exposure. We are currently providing Jyoti solution at 6 educational institutions under Gazipur City Corporation in partnership with CARE Bangladesh.

We have grown 10 fold in last 11 months. The journey we have started is a long one and we are focused towards our goal. Enroute we plan to celebrate the major achievements and this is one of those.

Today we have achieved the milestone to serve 10k customers. This is really awesome that more than 10 thousand unique females got benefited from our Jyoti solution. Hats off to the team for their relentless effort.

The grand finale of She Loves Tech 2022 Bangladesh held on 2022. The champion startup was Vertical Innovations Limited founded by Rezwan Ahamed Noor Shabbin followed by Mommykidz as 1st runner up and Food Patrons as 2nd runner up.

All the startups that were selected for the finale went through a competitive selection process. After careful revisions through about 150+ applications, top 5 shortlisted through face-to-face interviews, pitch presentations, and rigorous training!

The length of Bangladesh is measured from Teknaf to Tetulia - southern and northern most points respectively in Cox’s Bazar and Panchagar Districts. Today we have ensured our presence in Panchgar at Bir Muktijoddha Sirajul Islam railway station. We hope soon we will be available in Cox’s Bazar also. Recently we have deployed seven Jyoti Lite devices in 6 educational institutions and one community health clinic under Gazipur City Corporation in partnership with CARE Bangladesh

As part of our overall service delivery, we are conducting awareness sessions at this institutions.

Jyoti is there to bring light to 40 million Bangladeshi females at there menstrual age.

Our Jyoti initiative has been the winner of Simcubator Bangladesh 2022 round. recently the prize money for the winning team has been disbursed at a ceremony organized by SELISE Bangladesh.

We have been working with 17 factories at this moment to remove access barriers to menstrual hygiene products. Every month new factories are choosing our Jyoti solution for the way we provide our support.

As part of our onboarding process, basic menstrual hygiene awareness campaign has been carried out today at Aswad Composite Mills at Kabirpur, Savar. This is our second factory under the Stitch for RMG program.

Recently on the occasion of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, Jyoti was featured on Prothom Alo.

The time has come to make the change with the digital intervention. Jyoti is making access to sanitary hygiene products easier in a cheaper and taboo free way.
