The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is Sayyidul Istighfar. Our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said: “If somebody recites Sayyidul Istighfar during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.”

So let’s take a moment, sit up, close our eyes, open our mind and heart. Let’s recall that special something that we are thankful for and recite هذا من فضل ربّي “Haza Min Fadhli Rabbee” (Surah An-Naml: 40) that means “This is from the blessings of my Lord”.
