On this historic occasion of Victory Day, the Supply Chain Alliance bows its head with deepest respect and gratitude to the countless martyrs who laid down their lives for our beloved Bangladesh. আজ ১৪ ডিসেম্বর, শহীদ বুদ্ধিজীবী দিবস। ১৯৭১ সালের এই দিনে দখলদার পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনী ও তার দোসর রাজাকার, আল-বদর, আল-শামস মিলিতভাবে বাংলার শ্রেষ্ঠ সন্তান বুদ্ধিজীবীদের হত্যা করে।

১৯৭১ সালে মুক্তিযুদ্ধে ৯ মাস রক্তগঙ্গা পেরিয়ে গোটা জাতি যখন উদয়ের দ্বারপ্রান্তে, ঠিক সেই সময়ই রাতের আঁধারে পরাজয়ের গ্লানিমাখা পাকিস্তানি হানাদার বাহিনী এ নির্মম পরিকল্পনা করে।

নৃশংসভাবে হত্যা করা হয় বাঙালি জাতির সেরা শিক্ষক, সাংবাদিক, চিকৎসক, প্রকৌশলী, সাহিত্যিক, বুদ্ধিজীবীসহ দেশের বরেণ্য কৃতী সন্তানদের। মেধা ও নেতৃত্বশূন্য হয়ে পড়লে সার্বভৌম রাষ্ট্র হিসেবে পৃথিবীতে মাথা তুলে দাঁড়াতে পারবে না-এমন নীলনকশা বাস্তবায়নের লক্ষ্যেই হায়েনারা বুদ্ধিজীবী হত্যাযজ্ঞে মেতে উঠেছিল এই দিনে।

Supply Chain Alliance orchestrated a visit to Emami Bangladesh Limited, and our team had the privilege of exploring their industrial office in Gazipur, which proved to be an enlightening experience.

During our visit, team members gained valuable insights into various tactics related to product management and witnessed firsthand the operational intricacies. Notably, an interactive session on practical supply chain management was conducted by Md. Rizwanul Hoque, AGM- Factory Operations. He candidly shared the challenges and loopholes faced by a multinational company. Our team was granted an exclusive opportunity to directly observe Inventory and Logistics Supply Chain Management in action.

The day was truly fulfilling, as it provided an enriching journey of learning. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Emami Bangladesh Limited for their invaluable support and for extending this opportunity to us.

The existing burden on city corporations for waste management is quite large, with limited resources and knowledge to oversee complex e-waste management. It's critical to understand the positive social and economic effects of e-waste management, in addition to the health and environmental dangers its absence may cause.

Supply Chain Alliance is delighted by the amazing writing our Advisor Professor Dr. Nasrin Akter and her co-author Muhammad Ismail Hossain on the E-waste value chain. We feel glad to have Ma'am as our honorable advisor, guiding us toward achieving our agenda to acquire knowledge on a critical subject and sustainable practice.
