Week back went to @galouti.bd to try their delicious Indian/Pakistani foods. The restaurant itself has very simple yet niche interior. Sharing my experience on @galouti.bd Palak Paneer: One of the creamiest palak paneer i tried in recent time. With adequate amount of paneer with rich and creamy gravy comes from palak had the perfect ample of spices. Liked it very much. 745 bdt Chicken Lahori Karahi: I was bit confused between butter chicken and chicken lahori karahi finally choose this one. And thankfully Chicken Lahori Karahi was packed with flavours. Slightly spicy which enhance the essence of the dish. You can get the taste of sliced ginger which compliments the dish. 920 bdt Prawn Skewers: Prawn Skewers was the highlight of my lunch. Enjoyed it very much. It was grilled to perfection first and smothered with sweet sauce which elevated the taste. Prawn itself was quite delicate which melts in mouth. 1249 bdt Chicken Reshmi Kabab: Reshmi kabab was nicely grilled and it was marinated nicely with less spice yet the kabab gives a nice flavours from the grilling and chopped green chilli. Chicken was soft, and gives nice smoky flavour. Lip smacking! 845 bdt Beef Lahori Boti: Slightly chewy, but flavours were intact, poler opposite taste from reshmi kabab. Beef and the spices blends perfectly. They served a mint sauce with the kabab which elevates the taste in another level. 995 bdt Daal Makhni: Another favourite dish, and i had many rendition of daal makhni here but galouti’s daal reminds me indian one With the perfect taste of fenugreek the essence of daal makhni was intact. It was rich and creamy. The consistency of the daal was thick which which perfectly with the naan. 550 bdt Mutton Katakat : staple dish from Pakistan, made from different kind of organ from mutton. But galouti’s version was made with mutton kidney with various spices and butter. It was slightly over seasoned but it was quite flavourful. 785 bdt We also took plain paratha, butter naan and green garlic naan, Plain paratha 80 bdt, Butter naan 90 bdt and Green garlic naan was 110 bdt Galouti was wonderful and i thank them for inviting me to experience the ambiance and food.
