Historic tributary from KIVA HAN GRUPPO to the Founder's Father 'Colonel Mohammad Abdus Salam (Retd.) Bir Protik':

৭ মার্চ ১৯৭১ - 'ভাষণ শুরুর আগে মাথার উপর দিয়ে বিমান আর হেলিকপ্টার উড়ছিলো, আর পুরো রেসকোর্স মাঠে উত্তেজনা ছড়িয়ে পড়ে'- ৭ই মার্চের ভাষণ শুনতে এসে নিজের অভিজ্ঞতার কথা বলছিলেন সে সময়ের ঢাকার জিন্নাহ কলেজ(বর্তমান তিতুমীর কলেজ) তখন কলেজের স্নাতক প্রথম বর্ষের ছাত্র মোহাম্মদ আব্দুস সালাম।

পাকিস্তানিরা বঙ্গবন্ধুকে ধরে নিয়ে যাবার ঘটনা শুনে জিন্নাহ কলেজের সামনে আন্দোলন করেন। আর সেদিন মোহাম্মদ আব্দুস সালাম ও তার সহপাঠিরা একসঙ্গে মুহাম্মদ জিন্নাহ কলেজ কে সরকারী তিতুমীর কলেজ নামকরণ করেন।

তিনি ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়েন স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধের শুরু থেকেই। প্রতিরোধযুদ্ধ শেষে ভারতে প্রশিক্ষণ নিয়ে যুদ্ধ করেন ৩ নম্বর সেক্টরের আশ্রমবাড়ি সাব-সেক্টরে।

১৯৭১ সালের আগস্ট মাসের তৃতীয় সপ্তাহে, শায়েস্তাগঞ্জের পূর্ব পাশে কেরাঙ্গী নদীর ওপর দারাগাঁও রেলসেতু ধ্বংস করার জন্য একটি দল গঠিত হয়। মোহাম্মদ আব্দুস সালাম সহ এক দল মুক্তিযোদ্ধা। পাকিস্তান সেনাবাহিনীর সহযোগী এক দল মিলিশিয়া ও রাজাকারদের কৌশলে আটক করে বিস্ফোরক দিয়ে উড়িয়ে দিলেন সেতু। সেতু ভাঙতে ৪০০ পাউন্ড হাই এক্সপ্লোসিভ দরকার ছিলো, এবং এ দলে থাকা মোট ৪০ জন মুক্তিযোদ্ধা প্রত্যেকে ১০ পাউন্ড করে বহন করে নিয়ে যান। ক্যাম্প থেকে অপারেশনস্থল ছিলো প্রায় ২৫ মাইল দূরে, সময় হিসাব করে বেলা ১২টার দিকে আশ্রমবাড়ির ক্যাম্প থেকে অ্যাম্বুলেন্স ও একটি ট্রাক্টরে তারা সিন্দুরখান সীমান্তে চলে যান মুক্তিযোদ্ধারা। বিকেল তিনটা থেকে মধ্যরাত পর্যন্ত হেঁটে তারা লক্ষ্যস্থলে পৌঁছান।

মুল সেতুর দুই পাশেই ছিলো পাহারা। সেতুটি ছিলো ৬০-৭০ গজ দীর্ঘ। সেখানে ঘূর্ণমান সার্চলাইট জ্বালানো। কয়েকটি দলে বিভক্ত হয়ে একটি দল গেল পশ্চিম পাশে এবং অন্য দল গেল পূর্ব পাশে। একটি দল থাকল বিস্ফোরক লাগানোর জন্য। সেতুর কাছে গিয়ে উঠে দাঁড়িয়ে পাহারারত দুই মিলিশিয়াকে কৌশলে আটক করার পর এক্সপ্লোসিভ দল সেতুতে এক্সপ্লোসিভ লাগাতে শুরু করল, এক্সপ্লোসিভ লাগানো শেষ। সেফটি কর্ডে আগুন দেওয়ার কিছুক্ষণ পরই বিকট শব্দে বিস্ফোরণ ঘটল। ভেঙে পড়তে থাকল লোহার গার্ডার, এবং সেতুটি পুরোপুরি ধ্বংস হয়ে গেল।

এটি ছিলো বাংলাদেশ জয়ের পথে একটি বিশেষ অবদান।

মোহাম্মদ আব্দুস সালাম বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধের একজন বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা। স্বাধীনতা যুদ্ধে তার সাহসিকতার জন্য বাংলাদেশ সরকার তাকে বীর প্রতীক খেতাব প্রদান করে।

🎈This is a newly launched drink from Kiva Han. I am not a person who likes sugar in her coffee, not even in frozen ones.
So I was a bit skeptical when they offered me this newly launched Avalanche Series Drink.
This is a perfect mixture of Coffee and chocolate. And the cream on top was very light on my taste bud.
And somehow, they managed to hit the right amount of sugar that I like on my drinks if I want it to be sugary.
