The road was unclear, but the focus and determinations were concrete. We are delighted to share that, Babylon Group, one of the leading 100% Export oriented RMG manufacturers in Bangladesh, has chosen FastreactPlan from Coats Digital, powered by Diverzent to automate and digitize their business planning process. Contract finalization took place recently where Mr. Arif Bhuiyan (Group CEO, Babylon Group) and Mr. Sabbir Ahmed (CFO, Babylon Group) were present along with other senior management of Babylon Group, also accompanied by Mr. Ayan Barua (CEO, Diverzent) and Mr. Philip Lee (Global partner director, Coats Digital).

The project scope is for 200 Lines, spread across 5 sewing manufacturing units AT Dhaka & Chittagong. The steering team is hopeful to leverage the project management experience of Diverzent and Coats Digital to deliver a successful project.

External Kick-Off (EKO) meeting of Coats Digital FastreactPlan Project at HAMS Group took place on 5th April 2022. Senior management and key operational stakeholders from the Hams group and Diverzent were present in this meeting.

HAMS Group has recently adopted Coats Digital's FastreactPlan to automate its planning & operation management. Hams Group is a leading Garment exporter from Bangladesh, managing exponential growth year by year. Hams expects to make their operational process and decision makings digital by implementing FastreactPlan in all of its factories. The project scope is for 4 stitching units with 157 Sewing lines.

♻ ঘটনা ১

গতকাল থেকেই সারাদিন ধরেই ল্যাপটপে কাজ করছেন সোহেল। আজকে মাসের ৩১ তারিখ। কাল সকালেই সারা মাসের জন্য প্ল্যান ফ্রিজ করে সব ডিপার্ট্মেন্টকে সারকুলেট করতে হবে। সমস্ত কনফার্ম অর্ডার এবং প্রজেকশন অর্ডারের হিসাব নিকাশ মিলিয়ে, মার্চেন্ডাইজিং টিমের সাথে ৩ ঘন্টার T&A মিটিং শেষে মোটামুটি প্ল্যান্ গুছিয়ে এনেছেন।

বিকেল সাড়ে ৪টার দিকে এক কাপ চা খেতে খেতে ভাবছেন জ্যাম ঠেলে বাসায় যেতে কতক্ষন লাগবে। এমন সময় মার্কেটিং জিএম এর ফোন, আর্জেন্ট স্পিড অর্ডার এসেছে মাদার বায়ারের কাছ থেকে, যেভাবেই হোক নেক্সট ২০ দিনের মধ্যে শিপমেন্ট দিয়ে দিতে হবে। একরাশ হতাশা নিয়ে নিজের এক্সেল ফাইলের দিকে তাকিয়ে থাকলেন সোহেল, যে ফাইল নিয়ে গত দুইদিন ধরেই কাজ করছেন। এই সব ক্যাল্কুলেশন আবার রিওয়ার্ক করতে হবে। অফিসের গাড়িতে হয়ত যাওয়া হবে না আজকে!

♻ ঘটনা ২

অফিসে পৌঁছাতেই সাইদ দেখলেন ডায়িং থেকে টেকনিকাল ম্যানেজার তার ডেস্কের সামনে দাড়িয়ে আছেন। একটা অর্ডারের স্যাম্পল করছিলেন, কিন্তু শেইড মিলছে না! এখন এই শেইড এপ্রুভাল এর জন্য বায়িং অফিসের পার্মিশন লাগবে। স্যাম্পলটা নিয়ে আবার বায়ারদের সাথে কমিউনিকেশন শুরু করল সাঈদ।

বিভিন্ন ঝক্কি ঝামেলার পর সারাদিন দৌড় ঝাপ করে স্যাম্পলটা এপ্রুভ করা গেল, কিন্তু সারাদিন এর পেছনেই গেল। বিকেলবেলা যখন ক্লান্ত অবস্থায় ডেস্কে বসে আছেন, তখন শুনলেন আগামীকাল যে অর্ডার এর সুইং শুরু হবে, তার অর্ডার করা থ্রেড এখনো আসে নাই। সারাদিন অন্য অর্ডার নিয়ে বিজি থাকাতে এর কথা ভুলেই গিয়েছিল সাইদ। চেক করে দেখলেন, শেইড প্রব্লেম এর অর্ডারটির কাজটি আরো দুইদিন পরে করলেও হত! কিন্তু এতগুলো রানিং অর্ডারের জন্য প্রায়োরিটি ম্যানেজ করা দিনদিন অনেক কস্টকর হয়ে যাচ্ছে!

গার্মেন্টসে এমন আরো হাজারো ঝামেলা লেগেই থাকে। এবং এর মূল কারন হল সবাই যার যার মতন আলাদা ফাইলে কাজ করা! গত ৪০ বছর ধরেও এই ইন্ডাস্ট্রিতে আমরা এখনো ভাল্ভাবে ডাটা আর কমিউনিকেশনের ভিজিবিলিটী নিশ্চিত করতে পারি নাই।

যতদিন আমরা পারব না, ততদিন এভাবেই নিজের জীবন থেকে সময় দিয়ে তার মাশুল গুনে চলতে হবে। উপাইয় একটাই,✅ডিজিটালাইজেশন। ডিস্কানেঙ্কটেড এক্সেল ফাইল থেকে বেরিয়ে আসুন, না হলে নিজের ওয়ার্ক লাইফ ব্যালেন্স সেক্রিফাইস করেই চাকরি করে যেতে হবে!
