Please join us on August 19th, Thursday at 8 pm (GMT+6) for a live webinar held in collaboration with Project Unlearn and Bhai Thamen. Be a part of our conversation as we explore how Bhai Thamen and Project Unlearn take reactive and proactive approaches, respectively, to tackle the issues surrounding toxic masculinity. Come find out "ভাই, কেন থামবে?"
Project Unlearn and Bhai Thamen are very excited to present to you, "Bhai, keno thambe?" (Dude, why stop?)
Toxic masculine norms set unrealistic expectations on men just as it does to women, from a very early age. The stress and trauma that come with always having to perform the role of the complete man can manifest in dangerous ways. Truth is, the ideal man doesn't need to be the biggest, bravest, or strongest.
So next time someone tries to stop our boys from expressing their vulnerability or being comfortable with their authentic selves, ask them "bhai, keno thambe?" Why should they be ashamed of being true to themselves? Instead, let's encourage our boys to define masculinity for themselves.

Violence against women and girls is a widespread problem that occurs at alarming rates, with 1 in 3 women worldwide having experienced physical or sexual violence inflicted by an intimate partner or non-partner at some point in their lifetime. Since its outbreak, the COVID-19 pandemic has only intensified gender based violence, particularly in, but not limited to, the domestic sphere.
Help us fight against these and arm women with the tools they need with Bhai Thamen. To know more about our cause, please visit our website at bhaithamen.com
