As a part of our citizen science movement in Bangladesh, we work in collaboration with various renowned organisations who promote technology and sustainability for the masses, enabling SDGs.
For the last one and a half year, Wizkit engineering team has been working tirelessly in collaboration with the Bopinc team to develop, manufacture and optimise Unilever's Refill machine in Bangladesh funded by TRANSFORM. The aim of this refill machine is to create a more sustainable consumer behaviour pattern, while reducing plastic waste.
The machine was presented to Her Excellency, the Honourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, yesterday at the FICCI Investment Expo at Radisson Blue Water Garden, Dhaka. The event was also graced by relevant industry leaders, policy makers and dignitaries.
Currently, the refill machine is undergoing a pilot stage at Uttar Badda Bazar, administered by our Head Engineer, Rahatul Islam alongside Unilever brand ambassadors. We look forward to creating bigger waves through our future research and manufacturing collaborations.
We wholeheartedly thank everyone involved who made this project turn into a reality!
