NOTICE
This is for general information of all concerned that IUBAT—International University of Business Agriculture and Technology will remain closed on October 3, 2014 on account of Durga Puja.
The university will remain closed from October 5 to 7, 2014 on account of Eid-ul-Adha.
The university will remain closed on October 4, 2014. Classes as well as official activities of October 4, 2014 will be made up on Friday, October 17, 2014.
Normal activities of the University will be resumed from 8:30 AM on Wednesday, October 8, 2014.

Türkiye Scholarship from The Republic Of Turkey

This year in 2014, Turkish Government is going to offer Türkiye Scholarships, and Turkey Government is going to provide more scholarship than previous years and intern students can apply for the graduate scholarship.
Türkiye Scholarship is a government funded higher education scholarship program which is designed for international students. The program does not include the foreign students who are studying in Turkey through the EU projects, the reciprocal agreements and the university scholarships.
IUBAT Students, having high CGPA and students, who all are very active in social works, sports, extracurricular activities and those who are really very serious to get Türkiye Scholarships, and love to go to Turkey, have high possibilities to get this scholarship. IUBAT Faculties, also, can be able to apply for M.S and PhD. Students (whose courses not finished yet) can also apply for under-graduation from next month. All distinguished Chairs, Coordinators, Faculties, all Administrative Staffs of different colleges and programs of IUBAT, are cordially requested to motivate students to apply to get this Türkiye Scholarship, as soon as possible.
Türkiye Scholarships is offered for undergraduate, graduate, PhD and research level.
In Turkish universities the medium of education is generally in Turkish. However, some departments and universities offer programs in foreign languages such as English, French and German. The candidates who want to study in foreign languages need to have an internationally recognized certificate to prove their language proficiency. The certificate should be valid and must be uploaded to the system during the application.

ভার্সিটি তে যেইদিন ভর্তি হইছি, সেদিন থেকেই ৪ বৎসরের জন্য সর্বসত্ত বিক্রি করে দিছি। আসলে সমস্যাটা হচ্ছে আমাদের student দের মাঝেও যেমন unity নেই, তেমনি unity নেই faculty দের মাঝেও। সব faculty ভাবে আমি যা বলবো তাই করতে হবে, এতে তোমার কি হলো না হলো তাতে আমার কোন যায় আসেনা। শুধু faculty দের মাঝে না, IUBAT এর সকল কর্মচারী নিজেদের কে ভিসি ভাবে, যে যা বলবে, ওইটাই শুনতে হবে। আগে আমারটা, পরে অন্য জনের টা। সিদ্ধান্ত তোমার,কোনটা শুনবা...??????????????

আইসিসি ওয়ার্ল্ড টি২০ ২০১৪ থিম সং টা নিয়ে বাংলাদেশের ১২ টা ইউনিভার্সিটি তে আলাদা আলাদা ভাবে ফ্ল্যাশ মব বানানো হলেও,IUBAT এখন পর্যন্ত কোন উদ্দেগই নেওয়া হচ্ছেনা।
অনেকেই আবার বলছেন যে আমাদের পার্মানেন্ট ক্যাম্পাস নেই তাই। কিন্তু সত্তিই কি তাই? ইচ্ছা থাকলেই উপায় হয়, কেননা CU, SAU, UIU, SEC, CUET সবাই ফ্ল্যাশ মব টা রাস্তায় করছে ! আমরাও চাইলে করতে পারতাম,যায়গা কোন ব্যাপার না...এবং আমার দেখা ফ্ল্যাশ মব এর ভেতর চট্টগ্রাম ইউনিভার্সিটি এর টাই সব থেকে ভাল হয়েছে,যেটি সম্পূর্ণ রাস্তার উপর করা।
আর আমাদের একটা কথা মাথাই রাখা উচিৎ। যেখানে DU,NSU,EWU,UIU,CU সব ভার্সিটি পারফর্ম করছে সেখানে আমরা কেন করবো না? আর এই সব ভার্সিটি গুলোর মধ্যে সেরা পারফরমেঞ্চ যারা করবে তাদের কে বিশ্বকাপের উদ্বোধনী অনুষ্ঠানে অংশঘ্রহন করতে দেওয়া হবে।এটা কি অনেক বড় পাওয়া না আমদের জন্নে? তাইলে আমরা কেন পিছিয়ে থাকবো অন্য ভার্সিটি থেকে?
আর আমরা েকান্দিক থেকে পিিছেয় আছি ??? একটা ফ্ল্যাশ মব বানাতে সমস্যা কোথাইয়?
আশা রাখি খুব শিগ্রই আমাদের ভার্সিটিতেও বিশ্বকাপ থিম সং নিয়ে কেও একটা উদ্দগ নিবে………………।???

The objective of EFLDP is to provide leadership learning experiences to every participant, to build and improve their personal leadership style which will prepare them for leadership roles in the society and in their profession.
Who benefits from participating in LDP?
LDP is a distinctive learning experience designed for students at senior level who will enter into job market at entry level or candidates for managerial position will benefit as leadership participants.

Leadership is a process, leadership involves influencing others, leadership happens within the context of a group, and leadership involves goal attainment. LDP is grounded on a fundamental principle: Better Leaders Produce Better Bottom-Line Results for their Organizations.
About CMD
The Center for Management Development (CMD) has been set up in 1991 by IUBAT with the objective of contributing substantially towards meeting needs for management development in the country as well as in this region.
The activity domain includes career-oriented educational programs, executive development courses at senior, mid and supervisory levels, functional courses; activity related courses and workshops, consultancy services and applied research activities.
About IUBAT
IUBAT - International University of Business Agriculture and Technology is the first non government university established in Bangladesh. The initial planning began in 1989 and the university was established in 1991. Degree programs started in 1992 with agreement with Assumption University of Bangkok, Thailand. IUBAT now operates as a government approved university under the Non Government University Act of 1992.
Since establishment, IUBAT has grown steadily. IUBAT now offers one program leading to a post graduate degree, nine programs leading to professional bachelor degrees and two programs leading to professional diplomas. In the short run, IUBAT has plans to add a few new programs. IUBAT operates as a non-profit institution and offers academically rigorous, but practical, instruction in professional disciplines. Prof. Dr. M. Alimullah Miyan is the Founder of IUBAT and recognized by the Government of Bangladesh. The institution derived inspiration from a group of educationalists and professionals from within the country and abroad.
Leadership Development
Program Components
The LDP will be completed in fall semester (from October 6 – December 6, 2012) which includes eight weeks. LDP plans to have two groups of 24 students (12 in each group) with each group meeting twice a week for an hour each meeting.

Eligibility
Students at senior level belonging to any of the programs of IUBAT are eligible for registration in this program.
Program Fee
There will be no fees for first two batches which will be run pilot basis. The expenses will be borne by IUBAT while the Program Director is donating his time from England.
Cancellation Policy
There will be no cancellation policy.

Registration includes free handouts.

Certification
After completion of the program, certificates will be distributed to the participants through holding formal certificate distribution ceremony.
