Through Project Trishna, a wave of change is sweeping across schools in Adabar, Mohammadpur, Rayer Bazar, Sheikhdi, and Noyanagar. Thanks to the unwavering support of The Happy Habit and Just Peoples, clean water now flows freely, transforming the lives of thousands of children with every drop.

To date, The Happy Habit has helped bring fresh water to 23 schools, giving access to 15869 children to safe water, touching countless lives and transforming communities, one drop at a time.

160 families in Sherpur, Nalitabari received relief packages as we continue to stand by those affected by the recent floods. Together, we can rebuild and bring hope to those in their greatest time of need.

Our first Britto Scholarship recipient embarks on their internship journey today a proud milestone for them and our team. This marks a significant step in creating opportunities and shaping brighter futures for young people. We can’t wait to see all the great things they'll accomplish!

In collaboration with IDLC - Financing Happiness to provide medical and relief support to communities affected by the recent floods in Feni, Noakhali and Lakshmipur. Over 4,000 people have received health care, food packages, and long-term recovery help because of our collaborative efforts. From medical aid to assisting families with food security, our alliance is making a significant impact.

In partners with ActionAid Bangladesh to bring safe and clean drinking water to public spaces across our communities. Together, we’re building sustainable, healthier cities where everyone, from pedestrians to those in need, can stay hydrated.

Our medical campaigns in Noakhali and Lakshmipur are providing essential post-flood healthcare services, in collaboration with IDLC - Financing Happiness We’ve already consulted with over 900 patients and performed two successful minor surgeries. With a target to reach more than 2,000 people in need, we are working alongside Ekagra Health to offer crucial medical support, including general check-ups and treatment for flood-related health issues. This initiative aims to restore health and well-being in these communities following the floods.

As the water levels recede and our emergency flood response on the ground comes to a close, Footsteps is now shifting its focus to a vital post-recovery plan for the communities of Noakhali, Lakshmipur, and Feni.

Our ambitious plan centers around six key areas, from rebuilding homes to setting up portable toilets, all designed to not only help these communities recover but also to make them more resilient to future disasters.

Your support has made a significant impact in Noakhali, Lakshmipur, and Feni. Thanks to your generosity, we’ve been able to raise over BDT 67,95,430, delivering aid to 6000 families, providing 3800 essential aid packages, cooking 2200 meals, rescuing 53 families, and conducting 16 medical camps.

While we’ve made incredible progress, there’s still much more to be done. The situation remains critical, and countless families are still in urgent need of help.

Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to reaching more affected families, providing them with the support they desperately need to survive and rebuild.

Our Footsteps team has worked tirelessly for the past week, rescuing flood victims and delivering essential goods to flood-prone areas. 400 families in Begumganj, Noakhali are receiving aid packages today. The situation in Noakhali is getting worse by the hour, and we need your support to reach as many families as possible. So far, Footsteps Bangladesh has provided aid packages to over 1600 families, and we're preparing to assist another 1200 shortly.

Footsteps Bangladesh: Building Resilient Communities by Empowering Livelihoods Footsteps is a Next Generation Organization which designs social ventures to build community capacity in addressing social challenges in the fields of environment, health, and education. Our disaster response team is currently stationed in Noakhali and Lakshmipur. They have become severely fatigued due to the need to travel on foot because of waterlogged roads. A sudden flood has devastated the eastern region of Bangladesh, especially Feni, Noakhali, Lakshmipur, Chittagong and the Chittagong Hill Tracts. Over 2 million people are trapped due to severe waterlogging with homes, roads and marketplaces submerged under waist high water.
