🦾See the future of technology at the Daffodil Robotics Lab Project Exhibition, where students showcased their innovative projects in the fields of robotics, IoT, and embedded systems.

A line-following robot competition has been held today at Daffodil International University organized by Daffodil Robotics Lab. This competition was a part of the learning outcomes of robotics courses.

To participate in this competition students are required to design their custom robot chassis using 3D design software and CNC machines. After that they assemble all necessary individual components and then develop robot software.

Total 40 Teams attended this competition with their custom build line following robot. They are very happy to participate in this competition through hands-on working experiences with robotics.

🦾With International funding, Mr. Hafizul Imran, Senior Lecturer, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Daffodil International University is going to attend ROBOT WORLD-2022 in South Korea which is going to be held from 26 to 29 October 2022 organized by Korea Association of Robot Industry and hosted by the Ministry Of Trade, Industry and Energy.

🦾This is an International Robot Exhibition where more than 50 Robot manufacturers are participating in this event along with robot experts and business representatives around the world. Mr. Hafiz Ul is also currently leading DIU Robotics Club and hopefully his participation will bring more technological advances and opportunities for DIU students.

গত ৯-১০ এপ্রিল ২০২২ এ ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল উনিভার্সিটিতে আয়োজিত হলো ২ দিন ব্যাপী রোবটিক্স এবং প্রজেক্ট কম্পেটিশন ২০২২।

ড্যাফোডিল রোবটিক্স ল্যাব এবং ডি আই ইউ রোবটিক্স ক্লাব এর উদ্যোগে ডিপার্টমেন্ট অফ কম্পিউটার সাইন্স এন্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এর সহযোগিতায় আয়োজন করা হয়েছে এই প্রতিযোগিতা।

মোট ৩০ টি টীম এই প্রতিযোগিতায় অংশগ্রহণের সুযোগ পায় এবং ২ দিন ব্যাপী প্রজেক্ট প্রদর্শনী করে। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের দক্ষ বিচারক মন্ডলীর মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থীদের প্রজেক্টগুলো মূল্যায়ন করা হয়।

প্রতিযোগিতার দ্বিতীয় দিনে আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল পুরস্কার বিতরণীর অনুষ্ঠান। এই অনুষ্ঠানের প্রধান অতিথী ছিলেন , ড. বিকর্ণ কুমার ঘোষ , ম্যানেজিং ডিরেক্টর , বাংলাদেশ হাইটেকপার্ক অথোরিটি। তিনি শিক্ষার্থীদের ইনোভেটিভ প্রজেক্টস দেখে অনেক মুগ্ধ হয়ে বলেন ড্যাফোডিল হতে পারে প্রযুক্তি উদ্ভাবনের একটি অন্যতম হাব। তিনি শিক্ষার্থীদের বিভিন্ন ভাবে মোটিভেশন দিয়ে তাদের ইনোভেটিভ কাজ গুলো চালিয়ে যেতে উপদেশ দেন।
অনুষ্ঠানের বিশেষ অতিথী ড. সবুর খান, চেয়ারম্যান,বোর্ড অফ ট্রাস্ট্রি , ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি। আরো উপস্থিত ছিলেন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য প্রফেসর ড. এম লুৎফর রহমান, সহকারী উপাচার্য প্রফেসর এস এম মাহবুবুল হক মজুমদার, সি এস ই বিভাগের বিভাগীয় প্রধান, প্রফেসর ড. তৌহিদ ভূঁইয়া এবং ড্যাফোডিল রোবটিক্স ল্যাবের ইনচার্জ মোঃ হাফিজুল ইমরান। ইন্ডাস্ট্রি থেকে যুক্ত ছিলেন স্কোয়াড্রন লিডার শামীম আহমেদ , সিইও, এস পি ইন্ফ্রাদেভ কোম্পানি।

সব শেষে বিজদের হাতে পুরস্কার বিতরণীর মাধ্যমে এই আয়োজনের সমাপ্তি ঘটে।
