"Every empty canvas comes with different challenges that impacts everything and everyone around. The growth from all those journeys over the time is never a linear thing; rather a continuous process, eventually making each canvas an episode.
Now, this one was quite a pleasant experience - be it for the client, for the process, for the growth or for the people. Its quite ungraspable if you pay attention to the end result only.
Its a home interior for a very sweet family with three daughters and two cats. After we talked, we just clicked! Once the trust is established, it was a smooth sailing.
Then comes the struggle to make it happen with limited time, limited resources and all the unpredictable.
From the very start, I tried to be true to the subjects, objects and facts and thy goal was to let the family write their story on this new canvas with a contrast of raw and polished. So, I decided to feature the concrete along with the harshness of metal to elevate the raw essence. Yet the luxury of Polishness, modern wooden texture and the white is there, so are the curvilinear elements - to create a continuous flow!
And what was envisioned from the very first day on this empty canvas - is what is standing here today, becoming reality with the tireless efforts from all the workers, vendors and specially the people of TRIMATRIC Architects & Engineers"
