La Cantina

At La Cantina, we do things a little bit different.

Inspired by the iconic taco trucks of Los Angeles, we serve classic street tacos, handmade corn tortillas, and fresh spicy salsas - along with regional specialties influenced by our travels through Oaxaxa and Jalisco. Our food is casual yet refined, served in a contemporary, classy, relaxed, and affordable setting. We aim to inspire culinary creativity and gastronomic delight through a wide variety of exclusively imported spices, chiles, and ingredients. We support local artists and craftsmen, and focus on community empowerment with our chef-led cooking classes.

Our head chef Heather Feher has an insatiable passion for food and travel, and comes from a diverse international culinary background. In addition to a prestigious culinary degree from New York, she has lived and worked in 6 countries for some of the most highly decorated Michelin starred chefs in the world. She has had multiple TV and media appearances, and has also worked as a personal chef for some of the biggest rock and roll and entertainment celebrities in the world.

Our mission at La Cantina is to create an open, inclusive, fun atmosphere centered on the most uniquely authentic, from-scratch Mexican cuisine in Dhaka. We aim to take your taste buds on a trip across the globe - from our passion to your plate.
