Hossain from Bihar arrived in Kolkata and started a small eatery called ‘Shiraz’. Shiraz’s Mughal cuisine originated from the glorious royal kitchen of Nawab Wajid Ali Shah, the last nawab of Awadh, Uttar Pradesh.
