Motex Family Embarks on Cultural Exchange Journey in Bangladesh

In a bid to strengthen ties and foster cultural exchange, Motex Partner Mogens Olesen, along with his esteemed family, embarked on a captivating tour of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Spanning from February 27 to March 3, 2024, the tour was a testament to Motex's commitment to global engagement and community outreach.

The tour commenced on February 27 with the Olesen family's arrival in Dhaka, marking the beginning of an immersive cultural experience. The itinerary, meticulously crafted by Motex, was packed with a diverse array of activities aimed at providing the Olesens with a comprehensive understanding of Bangladesh's rich cultural heritage.

On February 28, the tour officially commenced with a visit to the Motex fashion factory, where the family explored every facet of garment manufacturing. Following this insightful tour, a sumptuous food feast was organized, providing an opportunity for the Olesen family to mingle with the Motex team. The day concluded with spirited badminton matches and a heartfelt CSR initiative, wherein educational materials were distributed to 150 students during a school visit.

The following day, February 29, was dedicated to family bonding and sportsmanship at the Reverie Holiday Resort. From wicket breaking to pillow passing, the Olesen family enthusiastically participated in a variety of sports activities, fostering a sense of camaraderie and teamwork. The day culminated in a cultural program, where Motex employees were honored for their long-standing service and dedication.

March 1 saw the Olesen family embarking on a historical exploration of Panam City and the Sonargaon Museum, immersing themselves in Bangladesh's rich cultural tapestry. This was followed by a visit to the Motex head office and a fellowship dinner hosted by Motex Fashion Managing Director Masud Kabir on March 2.

The tour concluded on March 3 with visits to local markets for shopping and a final farewell to Dhaka before the Olesen family returned to Denmark.

Throughout the tour, the Olesen family was accompanied by Motex's esteemed team members, including Marianne Winther, Julie Winther Olesen, Markus Stinger Olesen, Frederik Winther Jensen, and Viktor Stinger Olesen. With all programs hosted by Motex, the tour served as a testament to the company's commitment to fostering global partnerships and cultural exchange.

The journey of the Olesen family in Bangladesh stands as a shining example of the transformative power of cultural exchange and collaboration in bridging diverse communities and fostering mutual understanding.
