Our Story
At Shoilo, we started as a humble boutique and interior decor house, creating one of a kind quality applique items with locally manufactured fabrics and materials. From there we grew to become a distinct style house with a wide range of products encompassing dresses, fashion accessories, saris, curtains, bedding linens. Now our products are made of patterns in variety of styles including batik, block print, embroidery, loom works and screen print from many partners in the cottage textile and craft industry.
Our unique style of applique designs rooted in haute couture helped us become part of the fabric of local culture and our willingness to work with partners and craftspeople in the small cottages across the country, putting in their honest and hard work, is helping us become part of a bigger culture where design is lifting people up and providing a pathway towards a better quality of life.
সই'লো-তে আমাদের শুরু ঘর সাজানোর ছোট একটি বুটিক হিসেবে, স্থানীয়ভাবে তৈরি কাপড়ে, একটু আলাদা ধাঁচের এ্যাপ্লিকে বানানো পণ্যে। সেখানে থেকে আমরা কারুশিল্পের একটি স্বতন্ত্র প্রতিষ্ঠান গড়ে তুলেছি যেখানে শাড়ি, পোশাক ও আনুষঙ্গিক, পর্দা, বিছানার চাদর, পিলো, কুশন ও সেগুলোর কভার, ম্যাট এবং ঘরবাড়ি সাজানোর আনুষঙ্গিক সহ হরেক রকমের পণ্যের সম্ভার। আর সেগুলো আমরা তৈরি করি বিভিন্ন রকমের নকশায় ব্লক, বাটিক, এমব্রয়ডারী, স্ক্রিন প্রিন্ট এবং তাঁতের কাজের উপরে।
আমাদের শুরু এ্যাপ্লিকের স্বতন্ত্রতায় প্রতিষ্ঠিত আর আমাদের এগিয়ে চলা কারুশিল্পীদের নৈপুণ্যে, কুটির ও বস্ত্র শিল্পের সাথে যারা জড়িত তাদের সহায়তায় ও শ্রমে। আমাদের চেষ্টা, শিল্পের মাধ্যমে জীবনযাত্রার মান উন্নয়ন করা।
