This golf season I want to be better about sharing my disc golf journey and all the amazing people I have in my circle supporting me!
Wildflower Disc Golf Tour always doing the most for us!!!
Welp, that was blast and exactly what I needed after a hellish week!!
The 1st annual Goomba Open was a total success, all thanks to Robert Wood!!! π₯π₯His brain child couldn't have played out better, especially with having 3 separate events: A singles round, random doubles, and putting. A little rain cant stop the Goomba Army!
Shout out to MINT DISCS for coming through for player pack discs and a sick stamp! Big thanks to Ryan Morris for coming out to support Team RyMoDyEs! Always a pleasure! π€π¦
Congrats to Top Goomba Joel Kelly taking home the W on the mens side and myself bringin' home Top Goombette!! Another fun trophy to add to the shelf π

2024 Texas State Disc Golf Championships
T3rd Place!!
First off, a HUGEEEEE congratulations is due to your current FA1 Texas State Champion, Isabella Parker!!!! You crushed it right out of the gate!
Holy s**t!! To say I'm incredibly proud of myself would be an understatement! This tournament was about sooo much more than just disc golf. Golf wise, I've struggled with repeatedly starting tournaments off on the completely wrong foot and having to dig myself out as much as I can, and I'm over it!
US Women's is turning out to be a massive turning point of a tournament for me and I proved that to myself this weekend. After round 1 of USWDGC, I was defeated, zero confidence, and just a bad attitude. That continued through 11 holes the next round and I told Mark, "I'm tired of sucking, lets fu***ng go!", and I haven't turned it off. As far as carrying that into Texas Stats, I had two goals. Keep my head straight and keep the mental game focused on me, and to just go throw my game!
The difference between how I played at USWDGC and Texas States is night and day. I found the discs that were working, committed to my shots, and didn't let little things get to me. I also didn't have my 1000 rated caddy to help keep me mentally going, so that was another huge test for myself. To be able to keep myself level is a massive accomplishment for me, which I am the most proud of!
Golf wise, I played my heart out and battled about as hard as I could to pull up onto that podium!! That's 2 so far this year. I know that's not many to some, but development takes time and I promise you it's starting to pay off and reflect in my play. I definitely left a few strokes out there, but I'll take it, especially for playing all the courses blind, minus casual walk throughs of Indian Shores and Brock Park. Every round was significantly over my rating and finished with an event rating of 866!
Side Note: If you saw my post from Round 1, yes the scores are different, no you aren't going crazy. 3 holes had pars adjusted after the round.
Thank you to everyone who was cheering me on and following me on PDGA live!!! I saw everyone's posts and messages and y'all are amazing!! I really couldn't do it without your support. Thanks to my awesome card mates as well for making this a really fun tournament, aside from golf. Thanks to Jessica for always being a great travel buddy and eating at weird places and Olive Garden.
Shout out to my awesome sponsors for supporting me and always keeping my bag stocked and pretty!

Welp, looks like we kept it going! ππ₯ Round 3 lead card tomorrow and a podium in sight, just gotta keep doin' what I'm doin' :) Brock Park is lookin ππΌπ€
Well this is a different kinda start!!! Finally gave myself a positive start and mentally feeling good! Round 2 tomorrow, lets keep the momentum going!
Lets gooo!!! Round 1 at Texas State Disc Golf Championships has this tournament heading in the right direction!! My mental game and consistency have been my biggest struggles lately, so to get a good first round out of the way is huge! Not having to crawl my way back up the board is a great feeling, especially when that seems to be the story lately. My shots felt good today and mentally I'm confident and comfortable! Round 2 tomorrow, lets keep the momentum going!

United States Women's Disc Golf Championships. What a week!!
Before I say anything, I want to give a HUGE thank you and congratulations to those that deserve it the most. To those who have worked their asses off for the last 2 years (at least) to make this event amazing! Krissie, Steph Vincent (your current USWDGC FP40 Champion!), Renae, Des, Zach, Guy, and MINT DISCS as a whole, you and your team have outdone yourselves! We can't wait to see what the future holds for all of you, Mint Discs, and Sprinkle Valley. I don't know what it is about that place, but there's something special to be earned and gained from Sprinkle, all thanks to the dedication y'all share to growing women's disc golf π€π©Άπ€
Now, on to the recap. Wilco, Wilco, Wilco. To say my USWDGC experience was a rollercoaster would be an understatement. Wilco is a course that can and will humble you, especially from the rough. Even with that in mind, I felt as though I had put in the practice and had a solid game plan going into round 1. I felt confident, but unfortunately that initial confidence quickly tanked and I dug myself into a hole I wasn't going to be getting out of. I'll be the first to admit, I played scared, and that's when Wilco will take your lunch money. I wasn't committing to my shots and even though I didn't exactly help myself, luck was not on my side either. From there all I could hope for was to improve each round and that's exactly what I did!
As for the takeaways, this one was 99% a mental and 1% ex*****on. My mental game struggled extremely hard for the first round and a half, until I was finally able to use my frustrations for good instead of evil. Once that mental game was on, the ex*****on came easy. Disc Golf is way more fun when you can hit a line off the tee and putt lights out lol My mentality is something I have been consciously working to improve, on and off the course. It's not always easy, but better is always better so I'll take that as a win.
Thank you to my 1100 rated caddy for helping me through this one and keeping me going even through the rough patches, which there were quite a few. Mark, you were the saving grace of my weekend! Thank you again for always working with me, rather than against me and to use the cards I've been dealt in my favor.
Side shout out to Paige for walking the first round with us and helping to keep my spirits up. Big thank you to Tysn Cnls for the positive messages before every round and volunteering at Wilco.
Shout out to my sponsors, and everyone in my corner, for continuing to have my back and supporting me through the good, the bad, and the not so great. This season is already teaching me so much about myself and this game, which wouldn't be possible without all of you!!

Now for the current update!!:
Another amazing Wildflower Disc Golf Tour event in the books! Huge thank you to Amy Monahan, her right hand woman Debby Anders Anders, and all of the volunteers for running The 2nd Annual Bluebonnet Women's Open Presented by of Bounds- A Wildflower Disc Golf Tour Event. As always, shoutout to the MINT DISCS ladies Renae, Krissie, Des, and Stephanie for keeping this tour going and giving women's disc golf a fun and supportive environment to compete in! Thank you to Justin Windsor for capturing some awesome action shots and continuing to support the women of our community!
Not a podium, but still a battle tying for 6th with Ms. Bonni Peeks! I definitely left a few strokes out there, especially in my first round (thanks putting!...ππ), but somehow when it got windier during the second round I picked it up and snagged a few birdies. Yay! My Discmania Essence and Razor Claw 2, combined with my MINT DISCS TacoCat, otherwise known as Robert Catherine, put in some serious work out there and pulled me out of a few sticky spots. Another tournament with both rounds ranking over my rating, so I'll take it!! I had fantastic cards for both rounds, complete with some of my favorites who I don't see very often (Yeah, I'm lookin at you Renae, Bonnie, and Melissa Stein !π«ΆπΌπ₯°)
Big congrats to Destyne Monique for pulling out the win! Way to snag it from behind and come out on top! Jessica Hopper and Sarah Duran, way to fight and come out with a podium finish! Keep up the good work!
Now for my incredible sponsors!!:
- Thank you to Ryan Morris with RyMo DyEs for keeping my bag stocked and pretty!
- Disc Nation and Samantha, thank you for always having my back and supporting myself and the rest of the Disc Nation Team.
- Team GroundBoundand Good Dog Disc Golf for keeping my knees comfy and making those scrambles just that much easier.
- Flying Goomba Disc Golfand the Wells Branch Disc Golf Club. Where would I even be without my Goomba and Wells family!? Y'all are the real MVP's! I can't begin to thank this crazy bunch of misfits enough for the ongoing support I receive in every single round I play!
Now it's on to the next one! United States Women's Disc Golf Championships here we come!
Better late than never!! Here's a little recap from the first Wildflower Disc Golf Tour of the year, The 2nd Annual Prickly Pear Classic held on at Sprinkle Valley Disc Golf Course in Austin, Tx.
Today was a good day ππ€π₯
The 2nd Annual Prickly Pear Classic is officially done! Huge shout out to the MINT ladies Renae, Krissie, Stephanie, and Des for putting on yet another fantastic Wildflower Disc Golf Tour event! Awesome kick off of the tour and it'll only get better! Big thanks to Sprinkle Valley and Austin Beerworks for hosting!
Finally!!! Back on the podium! It's been a minute since I've been able to say that! Came into today tied for 4th, moved down to 7th, and climbed back up for a 4 way tie for 3rd with Amy, Jessica, and Ashley!! To say it was a battle out there this weekend would be a massive understatement. As always, I played with some amazing women and met some new faces π Sprinkle is no joke of a course and I'm incredibly proud of myself for not getting in my own head and sticking to the game plan as closely as possible. This place is going to teach me some things for sure!!! Obviously it didn't go perfect, but my scramble game, which is usually ππΌ, saved my entire tournament! Shoutout to Justin Windsor For capturing some awesome moments as well!!
Congratulations to Sarah Duran for taking home the win! You absolutely crushed it and I can't wait to see what you accomplish this season!
Of course I couldn't have done it without my 1000 rated caddy, Mark! Thanks for keeping me level and getting me through some tough patches! You're the best! π€
Shout out to my Flying Goomba Disc Golf boys for showing up and showing out as always! Keeping us fed and hydrated out on hole 13 with only the finest spread. Felipe, Mike, Rob, Martin, y'all got all positive reviews from what I heard! And thanks to Chris Del Carte for showing up for some moral support!
Thank you to my sponsors Disc Nation, Team GroundBound with Good Dog Disc Golf, and Ryan Morris with RyMo DyEs! Y'all are the best and I can't wait for this season to get underway! It's gunna be a good year! π€π₯π₯°
Round 2 in the books!!! Took 7 strokes off from day 1 and looking good on the "every day is moving day" front so fingers crossed that continues!! Tomorrow we head to the golf course to play Sunset Hills and then back to Northwoods for Saturday. Got to play with some awesome ladies for both rounds so far so who knows who Ill play with come tomorrow, but regardless, let's do some more cool s**t!!! As always, shout out to the worlds best caddy Mark, and my emotional support hedgehog socks!!!
Go check it out!!!! Huggeee thank you to Patrick Nelson for coming in and putting this awesome promo together for us!!! Support like this is priceless and I can't thank Patrick and Samantha enough for setting this up and letting us use Disc Nation as our backdrop!

Welp, today didn't go the way I had hoped but I still had a great time getting to play with some amazing women! I couldn't get off the tee at Circle C to save my life, but otherwise Fridays round went well. Hard to score when I essentially added a stroke to most scorable holes. HOWEVER!!! Yesterday I shot a personal best at Met Center scoring +8! Today didnt go quite the same, but we finished and I had 1000 rated caddy Mark Anschultz by my side! Gotta look at the positives and keep working on the mental game.
Shout out to sponsors Ryan Morris with RyMo Dyes and Mike Fox with Team GroundBound , as well as Chris Del Carte and Martin Amadeus Pierce for walking with me both days at Met. Also, to Martin for catching this awesome highlight on video! Yay for catching a solid bird! We've got some work to do, but slowly but surely we're gettin there!!!
Hugeeeeee shouout to Renae Farr, Krissie Fountain, and Stephanie Vincent, as well as Des Redding and the rest of the MINT DISCS crew for putting on another amazing Wildflower Tour event! It was a pleasure as always and can't wait to see yall at The Indian Paintbrush Wilfdflower Tour stop!
THEY HAVE ARRIVED!!!! π€ππ₯°π₯³ππΌI can't thank, the one and only, Joel Kelly enough for, not only, designing the artwork for these amazing stickers, but also printing and cutting them as well!!! They turned out better than I could have imagined and I can't wait to see these babys slapped onto a Wells bench!
I'll be selling these bad boys to continue fundraising towards my trip to Am Worlds so let me know if you want a few!
First come first serve, especially on the black and whites!! I'll also have them out on the course with me so don't be shy and come snag 'em while I gottem!
The smaller ones are $1/each and $3/each for the larger size.

The LARGEST of thanks to Martin Rendon for showing up and serving lunch today between Sunday Doubles (Wells Branch Disc Golf Club) and the Ace Race (Flying Goomba Disc Golf), helping to raise a whopping ***$310*** towards our journey to the 2023 PDGA World Amateur Championships!!!! We are officially changing it up!!
This golf season I want to start sharing my disc golf journey and all the amazing people I have in my circle supporting me! This page is where I'll be doing that rather than focus on my own dyes (which, lets be honest, doesn't happen much these days).
Keep a look out for big announcements coming soon including Worlds Sponsors and more!
Go throw! π€π₯π€
Prettyyy sure I got my first bogey-free round today so thats pretty cool ππ
Here we fu**in go!!! So I ended up with a couple hell yeahs! and 1 (not shown due to personal info visible through the disc) I'm definitely going to be putting back in with some different techniques!!! Overall I'm marking it a win!!
Sooooo I pulled last night drop and I didn'tget the results I excected, but I'm DEFINITELY not upset about it!!! Check back in tomorrow for pictures!!!
First off, thank you sooooo much to the WGE - Women Throwing Frisbees (WTF) event that I had the pleasure of playing in!!! I had an absolute blast and will for sure be back next year!!
So today we decided on Mary Moore today and I shot my best round there so far, by 6 strokes!!!! Considering I was going in only wanting to focus on putting after yesterdays tournament performance, I felt like I found an early stride and a solid putting groove! Cheers to a great weekend!!
Definitely not DG related, BUT I BOUGHT MY FIRST FU***NG CAR TODAY!!!!! Guys, I am so beyond proud of myself and so incredibly thankful for the help along the way! ?
Better late than never!!! I have mixed feelings about some of these results with the new supplies! I'm not thrilled with how the Blizzard Destroyer and the Crank took, but otherwise they turned out pretty well. Let me know in the comments what y'all think!
Oh and a bonus MD5 I thought turned out pretty badass from a different batch!!
Fresh batch in for the night!!! Trying out new dye (pro chem except for idye poly black, yeah I know I'm late to the party lol) and a different glue (elmers white instead of a clear base) so I'm excited to see how they turn out!!! Check back in tomorrow or monday to see what we get!!
Decided to dye up my PDGA mini! I'd say it came out pretty well! This is the first white, new plastic I've ever done, so I was curious how this was going to come out. Although the colors arent super vibrant, I'm happy with thw water color type look I ended up with :)
PS. Please excuse the dog hair, it's inevitable due to ya know dogs and my day job being with, you guessed it, dogs! Lol
A little Westside action for ya!
