The Isabela State University Santiago Extension Campus, represented by Dr. Melito D. Mayormente, has accepted four (4) support staff under Project Trabaho at Asenso Layunin ng Pagbibigay Opportunidad at Kasanayan sa Santiagueno (TALBOS), a program that provides opportunities and engages young workers in industry-based training to expose beneficiaries to real work environment experiences and, at the same time, to gain knowledge through hands-on observation and job ex*****on. Under this program, the beneficiaries will undergo three (3) months of learnership opportunities seeking career development, paid by the city government, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4 (Quality Education), 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

The said deployment was carried out by the city government of Santiago, led by Hon. Atty. Sheena P. Tan, CPA, represented by Mr. Fedencio R. Dasalla, Jr., PESO-CDSP Focal Person, today at the ISU Santiago Campus. Moreover, the ISU Santiago Extension Campus community with the University President Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino and Cluster Executive Officer Dr. Jose P. Gallena, Jr. is grateful to Hon. City Mayor Atty. Sheena P. Tan, CPA, for considering the extension campus as one of the partner institutions for this project.

The RAMBAKAN 2024 Student Festival, themed "Cultivating Creativity Within," was a vibrant celebration at Isabela State University Santiago Campus. Together with the Supreme Student Council, faculty, staff, and ISU Santiago students, the event unfolded at Bulwagan ng San Andres, Santiago City.

✨Kicking off with an invigorating opening salvo by the ISU Santiago Socio Cultural dancers, the festival engaged students in enlightening seminars on News Writing and Collaborative Desktop Publishing. These sessions provided valuable insights into crafting more imaginative articles.

Additionally, ISUSan talents were proudly showcased and duly recognized, adding to the festive atmosphere. As the first day concluded, it was evident that it was a resounding success, brimming with joy and anticipation.

In cooperation with the BSIT and BSA Student Body Organizations, on behalf of the Supreme Student Council (SSC), we are deeply grateful to Mr. Abdulmoin Harim Panglima Jr., the Officer in Charge of the Local Youth Development Office in the City of Santiago, for sharing his expertise and experience with such compassion. The discussions we had on navigating change with the 5 C's—Compassion, Competence, Courage, Collaboration, and Commitment—were tremendously enhanced by your presence and insightful remarks.

Furthermore, we want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank Mr. Joel Quiñones for his outstanding leadership as our team-building activities' facilitator and resource speaker. His guidance and mentoring have played a crucial role in establishing strong bonds within our team, fostering effective communication, and enhancing our problem-solving skills.
