TDP SCHOLARSHIP || ANNOUNCEMENT

The List of New Tulong Dunong Program (TDP) Applicants for 1st Sem AY 2023-2024 endorsed by UNIFAST Regional Coordinators, is now posted at the bulletin of UNIFAST Office.

Documentary requirements needed are as follows:

•Accomplished TDP Application Form (fill out the form with accurate and complete information)
•2 pcs 2x2 ID picture
•Certified True Copy of COR - 1st Semester AY. 2023-2024
•Certified True Copy of School ID (colored and must be updated) 1st Semester AY 2023-2024 with three signatures over PRINTED NAME using blue ballpen
NOTE: make sure that the signatures on your photocopies must be the same as the signature on your School ID.
•latest Certificate of Indigency (with seal) as proof of income duly signed by the Punong Barangay where you resides.

Provide 3 photocopies of each document in a long bond paper and placed in a white long folder.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF REQUIREMENTS is only until October 14, 2023 (Saturday) at the ACASAST-UNIFAST Office.

SCHOLARSHIP FOR OUR COCONUT FARMERS AND THEIR FAMILIES IS FINALLY HERE!!

The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) is calling for applications for the Scholarship Program for Coconut Farmers and their Families (CoScho) for Academic Year (AY) 2023-2024 funded under the Coconut Farmers Industry Development Plan (CFIDP).

The CoScho is open to undergraduate students who are duly registered coconut farmers in the National Coconut Farmers Registry System (NCFRS) or their dependents who will enroll or are currently enrolled in agriculture, agricultural engineering, agribusiness management, agricultural economics, and other programs identified.

Here are the qualifications:

1. Filipino Citizen.

2. Graduating high school student/high school graduate with a general weighted average grade (GWA) of 85% or its equivalent or College Student with earned academic units relevant to the degree programs identified by PCA with a GWA of 85% the previous semester or its equivalent.

3. Pass the entry-level requirements of identified State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).

4. Not be a recipient of any government-funded financial assistance program.

5. For qualified applicants with privately funded scholarship grants covering only tuition fees, he/she must pass the entry-level requirement of the private higher education institution (HEI).

6. Duly registered coconut farmer in the NCFRS or his/her dependent

7. Must have a combined annual gross income of parents not exceeding ₱300,000.00. In highly exceptional cases where income exceeds ₱300,000.00, the concerned CHED Regional Office (CHEDRO) shall determine the merits of the application. Cases such as but not limited to family member/s having medical issues or those with two (2) or more dependents enrolled in college may be considered meritorious.

The applicant shall not be a recipient of any government-funded assistance except for Free Higher Education in SUCs and LUCs under RA 10931, the “UAQTE Act of 2017.”

Student applicants that fulfill the requirements shall be ranked and selected subject to the eligibility requirements stipulated in the existing CMO and on the availability of the slots/funds.
