As we go on setting up more and more community wi-fi zones around the country, we always love to hear what our target community members are thinking about the project. Last year when our project Janata Wifi: Affordable internet for the community by the community received the ISIF Asia Inclusion Grant from the APNIC foundation, we were really excited. This grant helped us a lot to set up community wi-fi zones in low-income communities throughout Bangladesh. Now we would like to share with everyone, how our efforts are positively impacting the lives of community members.

Nurul Huda Farabi is a student who is benefitting from our community wi-fi zone project. Farabi and his fellow students often cannot use cellular internet due to poor network and expensive mobile data packages. So, they come to our community wi-fi zone at Dighir Paar in Feni District to collect the information they require from various educational websites. As Farabi is studying science, he has to read various scientific papers and documents. He also finds watching videos of scientific demonstrations on YouTube helpful. So, when he needs to use the internet urgently he comes to the Janata wi-fi zone for free internet.

P.S. Farabi scored 93% marks in his secondary school exams. We are proud to support meritorious students like him in their academic pursuits.

Job Description
- Moving on the field and Onboarding small merchants, shopkeepers and distributors for Janata Wifi products.
- Pitching to local broadband internet distributors and onboarding them for Janata Wifi Products.
- Maintaining relationships with these distributors and merchants through day-to-day sales activities.
- Handle online and remote client communications.
- Handle cash transactions with clients as a representative of the company.
- Creating periodic reports and updating management regarding all the partnerships and sales activities.
- Leading team of sales officers and hardware deployers, setting targets and overseeing fulfillment of those targets.
- Creating and refining sales pitch to efficiently onboard merchants, ISPs and distributors.
