Taking time to live. That is the philosophy of Sanne Lemmens and Jente Somers. By opting for a mini house in the city, the couple does not feel restricted by an expensive loan and there is a lot of time left to be creative. For example, Sanne brews, bakes and ferments under the name Atelier Amarant.

Inside or outside? For Nele Minne and Brecht Demeulenaere, the two simply merge into one, and they were happy to sacrifice some space for it. The hall turned into a hanging courtyard garden and the veranda has no windows, so that the family is always surrounded by greenery. 'When we go on holiday, we take all the plants down for the plantsitter.'

Willem and Emma rebuilt their house in a pleasant street in Kessel-Lo. The house had nothing special - except for the beautiful façade - so the architects were given carte blanche. After countless preliminary designs, they got to see something with a very open character. The first two floors were partially removed, resulting in a very high ceiling and a mezzanine.

2021 has been an incredibly exciting year for my Mr. Frank project. I only started doing interior photography in early 2020 (just before the corona pandemic, which was a huge disruption from the beginning), so officially I've been working for two years now and already have publications in Elle Deco Japan, Ny Rum Sweden, Schöner Wohnen and countless features in De Standaard Magazine (BE) and in Knack Weekend (BE), Sabato Magazine, Stijlvol Wonen, and later this year in Elle Decoration.

I am now also represented by the international photo agency www.livinginside.it and this was one of the most beautiful recognitions for me.

Let's all hope that 2022 will be less a corona year so that we can all live in a slightly more normal way again. I wish everyone an exciting, beautiful and creative new year and keep well.

And nice detail, or let's say mystery of the end of the year: I went on Instagram from 1,900 to almost 5,000 followers in 2 weeks, for which I am very grateful.

Together with a friend, Sophie & Sofie bought the house in 2018 at The Zuid ("South") in Antwerp. The house was then divided into 3 residential units. They kept the ground floor and the basement which they converted into a large duplex apartment of 165 m² They retained the typical authentic elements, such as: high ceilings with moldings, parquet floor, original oak windows.
