I would like to set some things straight about my GoFundMe campaign:
1. It's not easy for me- I'm much better in asking money for other people or organisations, like Designers against AIDS than for myself.
2. The reason I need an electrical mobility scooter is that I can hardly walk or bike anymore and I'm getting very isolated at home.
3. I want a decent scooter (and those are more expensive) because I have serious balance issues, so I need a safe scooter with good suspension.
4. I don't expect anything from anybody: if you would like to donate, that's great and if you don't have much to spare, I understand. It's the intent that counts. If you prefer to share my campaign with your friends instead: fantastic. If you don't want to have anything to do with it: fine.
5. I have a lot of supportive friends and have already reached almost 60% of my funding goal, which makes me very happy indeed. In the unlikely case you didn't see the campaign yet, here it is:
