🌿 It may be one of the 'basic patterns' in latte art, but to get that wiggle consistent and a finish that looks clean takes a while lot of practice.
🚨 One tip that helped me a LOT was to TRANSFER your frothed milk into a bigger one than you steamed in. The larger size will let you have more CONTROL over the pour since you'll have to tilt your pitcher less to have a slow consistent flow. It can help MASSIVELY to improve contrast in your end product. 🎨 Latte art he become a true staple for specialty coffee places all over the 🌍 nowadays and, while it's a fun little extra, there's a lot of science behind creating the perfect silky smooth microfoam and it does require practice, practice and even more practice.
✨ One of the ways you can check if your frothing was done properly is if the art stays until the very end without getting washed out. And I honestly love taking a sip, looking at the cup, taking another sip etc. It just feels good, I guess 😅

✌️ I just absolutely love these quite basic pours for their simplicity and speed of being able to pour out banger after banger! This being said, take your time to make it look good. It might help making it taste even better. Not really in a factual way, but our 🧠 is wired weirdly, so who knows?! It definitely won't hurt 🙃

🤔 The reason for this is that it's a rather easy figure to get the hang of after you mastered the first three big ones, namely the heart ❤️, tulip 🌷 and Rosetta 🌿 for it's a simple combination of those three with a slight twist!

❄️ CHILLED EXTRACTION TIME ❄️
⚛️ Have been experimenting lately and so far the results have been very interesting to say the least!

Some of the results 👇

1️⃣ Shots that took like 40-45 seconds had almost no bitterness in them on the 🤯

2️⃣ My regular shots (18 in, 38 out in about 28 seconds) seemed to have more aromatics and mix of flavours than I was used to. A very pronounced acidity in the first sip that rolled into a more smooth and balanced aftertaste without any kind of lingering 🤯

3️⃣ Even the crema itself stayed for a longer time! (I feared the dripping through my strainer would leave a weaker crema.) 🤯

4️⃣ The temperature of the espresso is perfect to sip instantly! 😋

🤔🤔 Lots of food for thought and more experimenting necessary to have a more profound understanding! 👨‍🔬👨‍🔬

😯 I honestly thought the effects of this type of extraction wouldn't have been close to what I've gotten. It actually seems that you DO save more of the volatiles in your cup by instantly cooling down the shot than by doing a regular extraction! We are truly surpassing and getting into a with all the science behind it. Perhaps one of the few good things that came out of COVID and the time suddenly had on their hands. 😅 🤔
