When important decisions need to be made and we are not sure what is right or wrong for us, we get confused, torn and undecided on the way forward.

And in most cases, we consult our friends, partners, parents, mentors etc on the what to do next. We seek their approval, acceptance and validation... but at the end of the day, the decision is always ours to make because it affects us directly not them.

At a young age, we are taught to forget our dreams, ignore our intuition and follow the path we are supposed to follow according to our parents or societal norms. Even when we're following "our dreams", we end up realising those dreams were never really ours in the first place!

Many of us have lost touch with our true self - our intuition - that inner voice - that inner feeling that always makes us feel a certain way when something is right or wrong for us.

However, when you decide to shut out all the other voices and listen to your inner voice, you get clarity on what you really want from your life. It makes you realise which dreams you want to follow, which values align with you, and what your best interests are.

It doesn't mean you have all the answers you need - It just means you know what makes you truly happy, peaceful and at ease; and you are committed to your happiness regardless of what everyone else thinks.

🎯 Alignment is when our thoughts, life-choices, and direction all honour our core values. Alignment is when we listen to our intuition and move through the world embodying our true selves.

📌📌📌I wasn’t prepared for all the emotions I’d feel watching my little boy graduate from preschool yesterday. 👨‍🎓

They say Preschool graduation is one of the first milestones in a child's education journey and celebrating it helps children to understand how important education is from an early age.

For me, it was so emotional as all the memories came rushing back to when we first started this journey of preschool together just a few years ago.

I remember the crying and endless tears on your first day at school when you held tight to me and begged me not to leave you alone at school.

I remember how you were so shy and couldn't easily make new friends or socialise at school but you quickly adjusted and started loving school in a matter of weeks!

You learnt that school was important and even if you missed me, you knew you would come home at the end of the day and tell me how you had fun with your friends at school.

I’ve watched you grow in self-confidence, and though you will always be my baby boy, you are becoming more of your own person every day.

I love how you love to tell stories and sing songs all the time. I love how you love to collect all the cool rocks and sticks you find outside. I love how you pick flowers for me and I hope that you will still do that even as you grow older.

I know you will have so many moments to shine in the coming years and this is just the beginning. I will always be there to celebrate each new milestone, small or big as it may be, because for me, it's an opportunity to appreciate you and how you’re growing and changing and how our relationship is evolving too.
