We Lead Digital is a non-profit organization that aims to foster inclusivity and diversity in the digital sector. We believe that everyone should have access to the digital skills they need for the future, regardless of their age, gender, or background.

We are currently looking for multiple interns who can help us with our projects and campaigns. As an intern, you will have the chance to:

- Learn from experienced mentors and professionals in the field

- Contribute to our social media, website, and newsletter content

- Assist with the planning and ex*****on of our events and activities

- Network with other like-minded individuals and organizations

- Gain valuable skills and experience for your resume and portfolio

We are delighted to share with you some of the amazing events and activities that we have been involved in this week.

•We had the honor of participating in the Tech Open Air Festival, a platform for creative thinkers and business leaders. We presented our vision of how startups/entrepreneurs can integrate cybersecurity into their core business model and the various solutions and adjustments/tools that can help them prepare their startups for the future.

The TOA Festival is all about enabling people and organizations to embrace the changing world and we are grateful to be part of it. We also had the opportunity to visit Berlin and experience its vibrant culture and history.

•We also collaborated with the Echivine of Etterbeek to facilitate a digital/cyber immersion workshop for multiple groups of primary students at Ecole Claire Joie on their last day of school.

We discussed online safety and explored the world of coding and created some fun projects on Code.org

They were so curious and creative and we enjoyed being able to inspire them and unleash their potential.

We are so grateful to the education team Kris for supporting this She Leads Digital initiative with some awesome laptops. This gave us the opportunity to bring our world to the kids and they loved every moment.

We are back after intense week in Lagos where we had the opportunity to meet and talk with employers,entrepreneurs,policy makers and participants during the International Organization Of Employers where we got to contribute and talk about the different ways digitalization can empower unemployed people within Africa and the best way to do so is by creating more accessible Technical and Vocational Education and Training facilities.

But we truly believe that we are off to a good start with the digitalization of Africa but there is still more work to be done and we are looking forward to be doing more trainings and workshops in the future within Nigeria

First Day of the 6th African Social Summit. We are excited to be part of the invited delegation which is composed of employers,governments,international organizations and youth to spend two intensive days to share and review work done today to advance job creation policies in especially within the technology and cybersecurity fields!

This week we are honoured to be one of the speakers at the 6th African Social Partners Summit in , entitled "The Future of Work and Digitalization: what does it mean for Africa?

We will be championing our on how ICT play a very critical role in making education accessible to women and girls and the fact that it can go much further and provide second chance just like it did for our founder Nadia Aimé.

Responsibilities

Organize & execute quick-fire content captures—including custom content designed to react to real-time industry trends, playful company culture spotlights, etc.
Analyze & optimize IG Stories content-type based on performance with a conversion first focus

Lead ideation, capture, and editing of social content—predominately focused on facebook, Linkedln, Twitter, Instagram, and Stories.

Key moments needing content support include program and event launches, project initiatives & promotions.

Developing media/influencer lists, content calendars, digital content, online editorial, social insight reports

Participating in internal team meetings, research and ideation
Monitoring, tracking and reporting on engagement

Drafting web/social media copy, blog posts and other written materials

Film, edit, & post videos

Dissect existing brand assets & creatively bring to life thru animation, hyper-lapse, & motion for Instagram Stories

Support us with day-to-day initiatives including social reporting, content scheduling, etc
