We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Mine Afacan Findikli as the Deputy Director of our Bachelor’s Programme! 🎓

With 15 years of experience, Dr. Mine has been a dedicated professor in HRM and Strategy & Management. She’s committed to helping students thrive through modern, collaborative learning methods.

As an active researcher, Dr. Mine has published nearly 40 articles in top journals and book chapters, focusing on HRM, leadership, and organisational behaviour. She also brings valuable leadership experience from her roles as Dean and Vice-Dean at other universities.

We are looking forward to the positive impact Dr. Mine will bring to her new role!

UBI Business School is proud to announce that Estanislao Schilardi Puga, our MBA student, has been appointed as the CEO of Netza, a prominent company in Mendoza that specialises in engineering and constructing specialised equipment for the oil and gas industry. After having worked in the public sector, he takes on this significant challenge in an industry where large investments are expected in Argentina.

His appointment as CEO reflects his dedication, efforts, and the leadership skills he has developed both at work and through his MBA studies.

Last week, our Master students' participation in Babson College's "Babson Build" entrepreneurship program culminated into a "Shark Tank" style presentation where team members across schools and nations worked together to articulate an entrepreneurial opportunity.

Furthermore, our student Berat Yunus Bilim's team won this year's competition with "The Navigator", a project which aims to revolutionise EV charging with autonomous robotics.

As a true testament to experiential learning, this partnership has brought great value to our students who take part in UBI Business School's International Business Experience initiative!

Today marks the last day of our partner Babson College 's week-long Entrepreneurship program, where our students not only developed their professional acumen from this top institution, but also gave them a chance to develop business connections amongst the 55 students from 6 different international institutions.

UBI Business School collaborates with Microsoft to offer a forward-looking master´s program in the management of AI and Machine Learning.

This collaboration aims to equip students with the necessary skills to navigate the AI-driven economy.

Starting from September 2024, UBI Business School will offer in collaboration with Microsoft a specialized Master’s program focused on AI and Machine Learning. The program integrates advanced Microsoft AI tools, including Copilot, as well as access to Microsoft’s suite of software such as Azure and Power BI. Students will gain practical experience in using these technologies, with a particular emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and Data Management.

Furthermore, upon successful completion of the program, UBI students will be prepared to achieve two major Microsoft certifications: Azure AI Fundamentals, a certification that validates foundational knowledge of AI concepts and technologies within the Azure ecosystem, and Azure Data Fundamentals, a certification that covers essential data-related concepts and skills using Azure services.

The collaboration between UBI and Microsoft aims to empower graduates with the latest knowledge and capabilities. Graduates will be well-prepared to address the challenges of a dynamic, technology-led business environment and take a leadership role in the era of AI.

In sum, UBI Business School’s Master in Management of AI and Machine Learning, in collaboration with Microsoft, provides students with a unique opportunity to learn and apply cutting-edge technologies while preparing them to get valuable certifications. Microsoft’s involvement ensures that students receive practical training using industry-standard tools and platforms, positioning them for success in the evolving landscape of AI and data management.
