Moving from theory to action can be challenging, but when is engaged and fresh ideas are brainstormed, some splendid results can get gained! 💪

This is what the EESC - European Economic and Social Committee went for by participating to the European Youth Event last Friday 🎉

In a fully-booked workshop, 30 young participants offered their contribution and reflections around the two winning recommendations! 📊

Special thanks to the member Katrīna Leitāne who guided the session and to our two YEYS-ers who made this experience even more exciting 🙏

Suggestions on the next steps to follow will now be distributed amongst the members and the youth movement on future occasions!💡

The biannual youth event of the European Parliament is a unique opportunity for young people to come together and shape the of with their ideas

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Our delegation consists of two participating students whose groups submitted the winning recommendations at the event in March and one EESC member, active in youth engagement and coming from the youth movement herself is all set to make their mark💪

🌍Our goal? To take the recommendations drafted during further towards implementations and move from theory to action!🚀
