Our stools are made from American Cherry and Walnut.
The legs are connected to the seat using classic wood joints, which in turn is then given a gouged surface.

Introducing our Tilted Vase.

This unique vase challenges convention with its intriguing design – a vase tilted, yet easily straightened with the inclusion of a finely crafted walnut wedge.

While we typically prioritize the natural beauty of wood, this time we've embraced a departure from tradition by adding a mesmerizing blue hue to the beech base. The elegant walnut wedge not only restores balance but adds a touch of contrast.

Our Tilted Vase, will be showcased on our new website and webshop.

The vase features a delicate test tube, intentionally space for a solitary blossom or a collection of dried flowers. It's an artistic statement that harmonizes creativity and functionality, offering a dynamic way to showcase nature's beauty.

I'm thrilled to share that Studio Tim Somers is gearing up for an exciting transformation through an upcoming rebranding.

This evolution marks a new chapter where innovation and the essence of woodworking excellence will shine.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic intern or freelancer to join our furniture workshop.

We are mainly looking for someone who can help us manufacture furniture and objects 1 day a week (day to be discussed) in the coming months. Our workshop is located in the Aalter region so own transport is a must.

Some experience and knowledge in woodworking is a plus. We are mainly looking for someone who can work in our workshop with passion and enthusiasm, someone who can create and think along with us about the various aspects within furniture (design) and objects.

We zoeken vooral iemand die ons de komende maanden 1 dag per week (dag te bespreken) kan helpen bij het vervaardigen van meubels en objecten. Ons atelier is gelegen in de regio Aalter dus eigen vervoer is een must.

In turn, this Piédestal is seen within a single function and that is to display objects or objects. For this plinth, we chose to have a dark layer, in this case walnut, connect the base and the "pedestal". We then let the dark wood recur on top of the sphere in combination with the wood located in the base.

Piédestal is a collection of different types of pedestals. Each Piédestal was/is designed with the aim of creating its own identity in the concept of function and different woodworking techniques. Within the sculptural fact of the pedestals, we felt that functionality was also a very important fact, which is why we chose to divide the Piédestals into different categories. Each Piédstal is made with a combination of different types of wood. In this case, Chestnut, Elm, Cherry and Walnut.

This Piédestal is the largest of the current range. Due to the height and different possibilities of this pedestal, its function also varies greatly within the location in which it is located. The function can be both presenting an object and using the pedestal within the appearance of a reception. Piédestal | can change its appearance by dismantling and reassembling the platform and the spheres.
