Dear Surya Spirits family 🧡
It is with a lot of excitement that we released the NEW LOCATION for the Surya Spirits 2024 edition. We found a new place that has more potential to build a permanent home for this festival. Located near Doornzele, the old zoo of Ghent is only 15 km away from Gent and easily accessible for everyone!
But... there's a lot of work that needs to be done on the new festival grounds. From February 10 onwards, we'll start to give Surya Spirits festival shape, and are looking for motivated people that would like to join our team to make this happen!
We'll work Saturdays and Sundays from 9:00 - 17:00. Please let us know when you are up to help us by filling in this form. We're also looking for help during the build-up and break down of the festival.
Please buy your ticket already, it will be refunded after completing all shifts.

It's easily reachable but still in a gorgeous natural setting!
We believe this new location has more potential to build a permanent home for this Festival.

💛Battle of the Future Buddhas💛 (LIVE-SET) from Sweden is a well known artist for both warm, harmonious daytime goa-trance and melodic nightish goa! In the 90s he was one of the founding fathers of what became organic Scandinavian forest trance later on. Last few years he focused more on slower, daytime, deeper melodic music that reminded him of his early experiences on the beaches of goa. What can you expect of David here? A mix of both! Doing the transition from daylight to darkness in a unique way! Prepare to see elves and trolls stomp around in our Belgian woods!

Johannes Siemann is a multi-instrumentalist. He will take you on a meditative movement journey.
With Loopstation and a whole collection of world music instruments such as didgeridoo, handpan, flutes, piano, drums, etc. , he plays a flow to get in touch with your own body and your own rhythm.
"From my own personal desire to slow down in this fast-paced life, I notice that I also enjoy to decelerate in my music. To create a journey where the dancers find space to listen to what's happening within and taking that as a starting point for their Meditative Movement."

�Born on the tiny Island of Guernsey to a Portuguese family, Singer-Songwriter Nessi Gomes channels influences from both sides of her ethnicity, blending the essence of the traditional, emotional and ‘larger than life’ Fado folk music with British progressive modern inspiration. Her acclaimed debut album Diamonds & Demons was released in October 2016 and received lots of media attention and radio support in Europe and the UK. Since she played in 30 countries including major festivals and stages. Parallel she created the ever-growing Vocal Odyssey workshops and retreats that encourage participants to meet with the spirit of their voice. Thousands have already experienced the process under her guidance.

WOOWWWW...What can We say?! The 1th PRE EVENT of the season was an absolute banger!!!
We are so grateful you 🧡 LOVELY SPIRITS: a lovely mix of expressive dancers represented from all generation, going WILD 🔥 on GOATRANCE on Thursday evening… even Jesus join the party 🤪
This proves again we need more afterwork stress releasing events like this to fuel our daily life with more happiness.
Special thanks to Maéra Vs Professor T. This lovely fairy provides us an exquisite opening set from heartwarming ambient/downtempo to deep hypnotic goatrance…
…followed by Anoebis … that gave us these ultimate goosebump moments again and again… with a Dancefloor exploding into pure bliss multiple Times.
