Over the past 3 weeks, more than 50 students across all Master’s took a deep dive into the bootcamp Data Science 🔬 for Finance and Strategy.

After 2 weeks with an impressive learning curve, they spent a whole week working on a case provided by . Today marked the end of the bootcamp, with presentations, two winning teams, and of course a nice reception!

Thanks to and the professors and assistants for the challenge 📈, and of course congratulations to the 2 winning teams 🏆

Yesterday MDT had the opportunity to visit in The Circle in Kortrijk. It was a very enriching day as we learned about the company itself and more specific Barco’s technologies ClickShare and WeConnect. Thank you very much Barco for the visit and the overall amazing day!

Today was a big day for the MIE-students 🤩 They presented their final presentation of the startup they have been working on for months. Each group had one mentor that coached them along the way (thank you for that). The jury was a combination of those 12 mentors. Everyone can be very proud because the end results were amazing which we celebrated during the reception 👏 The subjects went from skin care to electric chargers to fresh food! Some startups will even continue their story so maybe you will hear something about algae or magical experience playboxes… to be continued 🙌

Before the Christmas holidays, our Masters in General Management students tackled the Goldstein Brewery case... within the 72 hours time limit. The end goal? Present a 100 days action plan to the board of directors, which consisted of Vlerick professors Ann Vereecke and Robert Boute, supported by Koen Cobbaert (Director at PwC) and Koen Van der Taelen (Chief Supply Chain Officer at Duvel Moortgat).
