We willen alle thuisbrouwers die hun kombucha met ons gedeeld hebben bedanken. We zijn intussen gestopt met het verzamelen van stalen en gestart met het onderzoek van al het ontvangen materiaal. We zullen opnieuw contact opnemen met alle deelnemers van zodra we klaar zijn met ons werk en zullen jullie dan onze resultaten voorleggen. Alle verdere updates of berichten zullen via deze Facebook pagina worden medegedeeld.

We would like to express our gratitude towards all home-brewer fellows who shared their kombucha products with us.
We now stopped collecting samples and are analyzing all material received in the past months. We will contact all participants again as soon as we finished analyzing your samples and will then present the results.

We waarderen jullie geduld en enthousiasme. Mits de Covid-19-situatie dit toelaat zullen we vanaf midden augustus de LM-UGent Kombucha Outreach-campagne opnieuw opstarten. We kijken ernaar uit om jullie stalen te ontvangen en analyseren

We appreciate your enthusiasm and patience. Provided the Covid-19 situation allows us to, we will restart the LM-UGent Kombucha Outreach Campaign from mid-August onwards. We look forward to receiving and analyzing your samples!

Zoals jullie weten verandert de situatie rond Covid-19 constant. We wachten op verdere instructie van de Universiteit van Gent om ons onderzoek te mogen heropstarten. We hopen om begin juni opnieuw stalen te kunnen inzamelen, maar houden jullie op de hoogte!

As you know, the situation concerning Covid-19 is changing rapidly. We are waiting for further instructions from Ghent University on how to proceed with our Kombucha Outreach Campaign. We will keep you updated, but hopefully, we are able to proceed with this research at the beginning of June.

Wij zijn genoodzaakt door de heersende COVID-19 pandemie om onze Kombucha outreach campagne op te schorten tot nader order (zeker al tot 20 april).

The Laboratory of Microbiology of Ghent University wants to study the bacterial and yeast communities in home-made Kombucha, and the active compounds they produce.
