Happy to announce that new Puzzling record has arrived at lab23.
This old school Belgian label exist 20 years, and to celebrate this occasion they brought a nice release with a diverse artist selection from France, the U.K, Germany and the U.S.A.
And not just anybody:
Umwelt, Neil Landstrumm, the Exaltics and Freddie Fresh!!!
Nice cross-over between acid, techno and electro in a fat old-school vibe.

What to say... Hard to describe it, but one thing is sure, these guys are on another level.
Ghentian duo Subway shamans (Mr Gasmask and Epidemie) bring a cross-over between trance, acidcore and tekno like you never heard before.
Both tracks on this record are just an amazing voyage into sound and feelings, absolutely mind blowing.
Anything i say here doesn't really do it justice enough so i'll leave it at that.
Check it out, we have quite some copies left!

The first Black Teeth records is a fact!
Crawled straight out of the dark and dirty gutters from the notorious city of Saint-Niklaas.
This super original record contains 2 tracks by the 11th hour, and 2 tracks by Substrada.
2 artist that are currently re-shaping the dubstep-scene.
Experimental heavy rolling dubstep and one experimental hip hop dubby breakish dunno how to call it track.
All this, safely put away in a sleeve designed by the one and only .
Conclusion: Overall masterpiece.

So couple of weeks a go we got a visit of the lovely and super talented .vm , asking if she could take some pictures for a school assignment. The theme was 'person in their daily environment'.
Pictures turned out really nice, also some really nice shots of the shop. Thanks Beau!

A big amount of new releases and restocks this week at the lab.
Also some boxes coming from 2 labels/labelowners, that are since the beginning highly represented in our shop, and next to that, have been friends since a long time.
So here a little appreciation post and a look into there new releases and restocks at the lab.

Both fixed values in the acidcore/mental and tekno scene, and getting even more versatile.
First up .cult_collective and label owner Patrick, tallented artist, founder of obscur and cult Collective and many other labels, since years bringing together a bunch of highly talented artists, and releasing bomb after bomb while doing so. They guarantee pure quality and doing so have inspired many, many great artists. Check out their roster and discographie, it's quite amazing.

And than Ghentian local legend and too cool to be tagged on social Media, Mantrum aka Nico van Narcosis like they say around these Parts. One of my personal favourite dj's and we are very proud to call him a resident at the lab. Founder of the legendary Stoornis collective, and Narcosis soundsystem/ records. And since narcosis has Founded many other labels, yellow fever, y records and white noiz, to name a few of them! Typicaly mixing up new upcoming talent, with fixed values. Check out the impressive discographie, or when in Ghent try to catch him behind the decks, trust us, it's the stuff of legends.

Since we opened the lab 7 months ago, one of the most productive labels we have is for sure 'Shall not fade' records and their many sub-labels, 'Timeisnow records', 'lost palms', 'season series', 'killer cuts' etc...!
Founded in 2015 in Bristol U.K, they have since than brought together so many talented artists, and helped spread their beautifull music all over the world.
House, deep house,jungle, UK garage, breakbeat etc etc so much music in so many different styles but always with an amazing vibe.
If you haven't checked them out, it's time you do so, cause your missing out on some really good stuff!
Respect from the lab, keep it going!!!

He has arrived!! One where we ourselves at the lab shop have been looking forward to ever since we heard that it was coming.
Released on , re-mastered by the talented and produced a long time ago in Berlin, by the legends from Spiral tribe: R-zac (crystal distortion&69db)
A compilation of some of their best and most loved tracks, a big influence and inspiration to so many people and groups in the underground music scene (including ourselves).

The new Madback records release is here, delivered by the man himself .
Techno, hardtechno, breaks, hard core, terror... Some of the styles that influenced tripped all recognizable on this masterpiece. Love it!

It's been available since a while but only since today in our shop. Another very diverse record, downtempo, IDM stuff, till' chill DNB vibes. Beautifull work.
