At sunrise Today the Imbolc portal opened as the wheel turned toward the Maiden energy from the Crone. The fire sabbat is marking a return of the light, awakening, new beginnings and an opening up of a new season. A super new moon on 9th February will really maximise this energy of potential. The wheel turns…

Tonight is the first full moon of 2024 - also known as the Wolf Moon - so today we conclude The Moon and Stars series with ‘The Moon’ (1902).

According to the Almanac, moon folklore for January’s Wolf Moon includes the belief that a bright first Moon promises rain and a bountiful harvest; a red-tinted Moon means a dry year.
