Happy International Women’s Day??
Here’s our thoughts;
More than 9.000 women have been killed in Ga/za. Every day 37 mothers are being killed, and that number doesn’t account for women still missing under the rubble. More than 50.000 pregnant women are without prenatal care and many young mothers have lost their newborns. Many more are suffering from starvation. Let’s also not forget about the hundreds of women held hostage in |sraeli prisons, without charges, who face daily physical, mental and s*xual abuse.
And while we are on the subject, enormous amounts of women face the same atrocities in Sudan, Congo and many other places. This International Women’s Day, we stop and think about them. We fight for them. We stand up for them. We boycott, we protest and we donate, for them. And those of us who are religious, in any way or form, we pray for them. Thank you for reading, thank you for taking a stand.
