Race results from the noorderlaan cup last Thursday, there is still a lot of work to be done but it will come. The right mindset is definitely there already.

Fk Endurance race 1

After a difficult practice and qualifying, we were P8 and P11 at the starting grid. Yarne and Oli took the start but it went completely the wrong way. Yarne did not have a kart where you could get good times and oli was already in last place on lap 1 after a mistake of his own. Throughout the race there were many ups and downs and it was hoping for a good kart. In the last 20min the power went out throughout the karting. The race continued only it got a bit darker. After about 15min they got everything fixed again and it was a few more laps before the finish flag. After a long wait, we finally got the results and it was P8 for team 1 and P10 for team 2.

Not the results we had hoped for but we're not going to resign ourselves to it. One race done and 5 to go, next one will be a home race namely at goodwill karting olen. There we will go for the cup and no less.

2-hour endurance race in Olen.
After a very good qualification by Thomas (p4) but a slightly lesser one due to the wet and slippery conditions and the first time on this track, Kimi had to make do with last place at the start (p19) Yarne took the wheel from Kimi at the start and worked his way all the way back up from there to 8th position, 1st in their class. Unfortunately, the start for Thomas did not go as hoped and soon found himself last because of a spin due to the wet conditions. Thomas did not give up and worked his way back up to 7th position. Halfway through the race, Yelle took over and swapped with Thomas. For him it was not really an exciting race, pace was very good and so he was able to work his way up a place and finished the race in 6th place. Kimi also took over from Yarne again and tried to keep their place but unfortunately, due to many good riders, it didn't work out and he eventually finished in 11th position.
Very good race from both teams, both showed huge effort and better again next time. Definitely keep going like this guys!

Our driver lineup for the 2023 fk endurance championship. With 2 teams we are going to battle for victory in this great championship. We will now focus fully on the 1st race which is almost here, Indoorkarting noorderlaan on March 5. Na 2 mooie resultaten bij de qualificaties door Ferre Coolen en Jamie Waelkens op p8 en p9 ging de race van start en zijn de 8uur ingegaan.
Na deze zware en slopende uren zijn we erin geslaagd om met team 1 de 5de plek te kunnen bemachtigen, maar helaas door een gewichts fout bij team 2 zijn zij moeten zakken naar een 10de plaats. Het werd nog wel close op het einde door de straffe tijden die Jamie heel de race reed. Hiervoor is hij ook driver of the day. Keep going boys, we worden alleen maar sterker en sterker. Die bekers komen van zelf wel, de sfeer hebben we al wel goed te pakken.

Een mindere dag voor het team. Maar weer extra ervaring om mee te nemen naar de volgende wedstrijden. We geven zeker niet op en blijven strijden voor de beker.

De groep blijft groeien in leden maar ook in ervaring, binnenkort gaan we prijzen winnen.
Super trots op dit team hopelijk kan dit nog lang blijven door gaan 😜👍

2h rookie cup van Fastlane bilzen
4de en 5de gefinished na een zeer spannend einde waar we vochten tot de laatste minuut voor de 3de plaats. ons doel om de top 5 te behalen is bereikt en volgende keer gaan we zeker voor de beker.
