The VIB-KULeuven Center for Cancer Biology (CCB) is located on the Campus Gasthuisberg of the University of Leuven.
Near to 200 scientists and support staff of more than 25 countries are working today in 12 independent research groups and units.

Another two fantastic days on the bike for the CCB & VIB cycling crew π! Together they collected 22,000 euros for Kom op tegen Kanker π. Each cyclist covers 125 or 250 kilometers, of which some even cycle more days in a row πͺ!

It's that time of the year again, 1000 km π΄ββοΈ for Kom op tegen Kanker! 2 CCB colleagues started today to cycle 250km per day to support the fight against cancer.

The CCB organizes a quiz on March 3rd at 8 pm in Alma 2 (Parkstraat 45, 3000 Leuven). Teams of up to 5 players will be challenged with questions on various topics, translated in both, English and Dutch. It will be a fun night out with family, friends, or colleagues with great food and drinks. Moreover, spectacular prizes can be won by different teams π₯³. CCB Onderzoek in EOS Magazine π!
Waarom zaaien borstkankercellen zich uit? Onderzoekers ontdekken het startsignaal Veranderende niveaus van een specifiek eiwit stellen borstkankercellen in staat om door het lichaam te reizen.
Een ZEER bijzondere dag in de van Kom op tegen Kanker. Vandaag fietste de slotrit, de regen π§ en π₯Ά hielden hem niet tegen. Hij fietste deze rit voor - Γ©n met ! - zijn vriend die de strijd tegen kanker voert π. Een heel warm gebaar π₯!
Het verbluffende bedrag van 6.073.000β¬ werd ingezameld om kankeronderzoek te ondersteunen π ! Proficiat aan alle fietsers!
