From 06 to 16 August 2024, the GBEF team visited the Laarim tribe in Southern Sudan and shared the good news with a great number of people from this tribe. The big meetings took place in the evening, when the people had returned from their fields:

On 7 August 2024, the GBEF team presented missionary Noblesse with a donation of small solar lamps to help the community of Laarim in South Sudan

TIME OF CHRISTLESS CHRISTIANITY

Isaiah 4:1 " And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by thy name, to take away our reproach".

We live in a time when many people want to be called Christians, pastors, bishops, apostles, prophets ... because that's the modern way of life, but they don't accept to be governed by Christ, they don't want to depend on him in all things! They are independent from Christ!

It's like a woman who want to marry a man but on condition that he has no marital authority over her, no leadership from that man, and no relationship between them; she expect nothing from him, she ise independent from his presence, independent from his provision, she is independent and a free woman …

👉 Let's watch over ourselves so that we don't become Christians without Christ, or believe in Christ as Saviour without believing in him as our Lord.
👉 We must depend on Jesus Christ every day, instead of relying on our education, our professional experience, our social and economic status, and so on.
👉 Our message to the nations must lead people to the cross, and make disciples of Jesus, not Christians who have no relationship with Christ, who do not submit to Jesus' authority and who do not depend on him at all times.

May God help us.

Today we have ended our prayer chain for Muslims. We thank God for what He his doing among Muslims. We love them and we continue to pray for them so they may be saved.
