💡 NEW INTERNATIONAL PATENT - In Situ or On-Site Hybrid Thermal Desorption : Combination of Thermal Desorption and Skimming

✔️ One of our international patent has been recently published !

🔎 The present invention deals with the combination of In-Situ thermal desorption and skimming in order to treat all layers present in the subsoil and optimizing the treatment time of the saturated zone by heating the contaminant and thus making it more mobile.

👏 Acquiring this patent further solidifies our company's intellectual property position, allowing us to advance our technology and enhance its competitiveness and efficiency for the mutual benefit of our valued partners.

📣 SITE UPDATE: STRASBOURG, FRANCE

🔝 We have finished the treatment of the 3rd pile on our site in Strasbourg, France.

✔️ We were applying Ex-Situ Thermal Desorption (ESTD) to remediate the soil contaminated with Hydrocarbons and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs).

🌡️ The desired treatment temperature was 250°C and 77 burners were heated to treat 2000m³ of soil.

💡 We are glad to announce that we have introduced a system of continuous monitoring of stack emissions. As soon as we approach the threshold, an alert is triggered, enabling us to take immediate action to resolve the situation. In this way, we are able to guarantee greater compliance with current standards !

🤝 We were working on this project site with LINGENHELD Groupe. We brought our strengths together for a common purpose: soil remediation.

🌟 Our CEO, Jan Haemers, had the privilege of participating in a significant ceremony hosted by Speaker Eliane Tillieux of the House of Representatives of Belgium on November 7th in Brussels.

🔝 Through Haemers Technologies and supported by Finexpo, Belgium is taking a momentous step to address the Agent Orange toxic soil issue in Vietnam.

👏 The Belgian Chamber of Representatives passed a groundbreaking resolution on October 5th, becoming the world's first parliament to pledge support for Agent Orange/dioxin victims during the Vietnam War!

During the ceremony, we were joined by Tran To Nga, a courageous Vietnamese survivor of Agent Orange, and Minister of State André Flahaut, who championed this resolution in 2021.
