An eternal favourite, the avenue Marceau office of industrialist, collector and philanthropist Pierre Bergé (1930-2017), where a portrait (1972) of his life partner, French couturier Yves Saint Laurent (1936-2008), by Pop Art progenitor Andy Warhol (1928-1987), presides over a mélange of art deco furniture and a green moiré Codimat carpet

Wilton project

The French Academy, Paris, is the latest to experience the creativity of a custom-made Wilton carpet by Louis De Poortere.

Challenged to deliver an intricate and beautiful design reflective of the building’s heritage, the team at Codimat Collection worked closely with ours to deliver “Les Immortels” a bespoke carpet worthy of such a prestigious location.

It’s raining. But the sun is on display in our Brussels showroom. More exactly, the rugs designed with ! 🌞  

« Pink, to make the boys wink », they said ;) (We also arranged a huge black doormat entrance). Thank you and congrats for your new beaubourg space ! 💕

🌞To celebrate the arrival of Summer, Belgian decorator Jean-Philippe Demeyer and Codimat Collection have teamed up to create a rug named ‘LUTETIA’ (latin for Paris), whose pattern of golden rays is reminiscent of the sun.

Demeyer, who is amongst the top 100 of AD magazine, was inspired by Paris and a certain idea of the French art-de-vivre. With its chic yet naive approach, the rug pays tribute to the Sun King, and to decorative arts, through subtle evocations of an embroidery or of ornate metalworks.

The design, handmade in New Zealand Wool, is proposed in two sizes (2 x 2,80 m and 2,50 x 3,50 m) and in three color ways.
