Wat handig toch, in deze omstandigheden zou het heel lastig zijn om met een “normale” akoestische Bas te spelen

First concert with the new bass. Detachable neck, magnetic scroll. Sound, playability, looks, …. This is a keeper.

During the Bass Day at the Royal Conservatory in Antwerp a lot of people (and pro players) tested my basses. The basses are all VanW basses (original design by Jak van Waarde). The feedback : they all loved the sound, playability, balance, craftsmanship,…). Three points of feedback :
1. Can you offer a detachable neck ?
2. About 50% of them want a support on the left hand side to support the arm when playing in thumb position ?
3. If you want a compact bass but still like the scroll, what do you chose ?

I have been working on these questions…. Stay tuned…
