বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনীতে একজন সৈনিক থেকে শুরু করে সর্বোচ্চ পদে উত্তীর্ণ হওয়ার বিভিন্ন ধাপ রয়েছে। এখানে প্রতিটি ধাপ বর্ণনা করা হলো:

1. **সৈনিক (Soldier):**
- এটি বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনীর সর্বনিম্ন পদ। সৈনিক হিসেবে যোগ দিতে হলে নির্ধারিত মানদণ্ডে উত্তীর্ণ হতে হয়।

2. **ল্যান্স করপোরাল (Lance Corporal):**
- সৈনিকের পরের ধাপ। কিছু প্রশিক্ষণ ও অভিজ্ঞতা অর্জনের পর সৈনিককে এই পদে উন্নীত করা হয়।

3. **করপোরাল (Corporal):**
- ল্যান্স করপোরালের পরের ধাপ। এই পদে উঠলে একজন সৈনিকের অধীনে কিছু সৈনিকের নেতৃত্ব দেয়ার দায়িত্ব আসে।

4. **সার্জেন্ট (Sergeant):**
- করপোরালের পরের ধাপ। সার্জেন্টরা সাধারণত একটি স্কোয়াড বা ছোট দলের নেতৃত্ব দেয় এবং তাদের প্রশিক্ষণ ও পরিচালনার দায়িত্ব পালন করে।

5. **ওয়ারেন্ট অফিসার (Warrant Officer):**
- সার্জেন্টের পরের ধাপ। ওয়ারেন্ট অফিসাররা বিশেষ দায়িত্ব পালন করেন এবং সামরিক কর্মকাণ্ডে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা রাখেন।

6. **লেফটেন্যান্ট (Lieutenant):**
- কমিশন্ড অফিসারদের মধ্যে এটি প্রাথমিক পদ। লেফটেন্যান্টরা প্লাটুন বা সমতুল্য ছোট ইউনিটের নেতৃত্ব দেন।

7. **ক্যাপ্টেন (Captain):**
- লেফটেন্যান্টের পরের ধাপ। ক্যাপ্টেনরা সাধারণত কোম্পানি বা সমতুল্য বড় ইউনিটের নেতৃত্ব দেন।

8. **মেজর (Major):**
- ক্যাপ্টেনের পরের ধাপ। মেজররা ব্যাটালিয়ন বা সমতুল্য বড় ইউনিটের নেতৃত্ব দেন বা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পদে অধিষ্ঠিত থাকেন।

9. **লেফটেন্যান্ট কর্নেল (Lieutenant Colonel):**
- মেজরের পরের ধাপ। এই পদে থাকা ব্যক্তিরা ব্যাটালিয়নের কমান্ডার বা বৃহৎ ইউনিটের নেতৃত্বে থাকেন।

10. **কর্নেল (Colonel):**
- লেফটেন্যান্ট কর্নেলের পরের ধাপ। কর্নেলরা বড় ইউনিট বা বিশেষ অভিযানের দায়িত্ব পালন করেন।

11. **ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেল (Brigadier General):**
- কর্নেলের পরের ধাপ। ব্রিগেড বা ব্রিগেড সমতুল্য বৃহৎ ইউনিটের কমান্ডার হিসেবে এই পদে কর্মকর্তারা দায়িত্ব পালন করেন।

12. **মেজর জেনারেল (Major General):**
- ব্রিগেডিয়ার জেনারেলের পরের ধাপ। মেজর জেনারেলরা ডিভিশন বা এর সমতুল্য বড় ইউনিটের নেতৃত্ব দেন।

13. **লেফটেন্যান্ট জেনারেল (Lieutenant General):**
- মেজর জেনারেলের পরের ধাপ। এই পদে থাকা ব্যক্তিরা কর্পস বা তার সমতুল্য বৃহৎ ইউনিটের কমান্ডার হিসেবে দায়িত্ব পালন করেন।

14. **জেনারেল (General):**
- এটি বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনীর সর্বোচ্চ পদ। সেনাবাহিনী প্রধান হিসেবে জেনারেল দায়িত্ব পালন করেন।

প্রতিটি ধাপে উত্তীর্ণ হতে হলে সৈনিকদের নির্দিষ্ট প্রশিক্ষণ, অভিজ্ঞতা, এবং দক্ষতা অর্জন করতে হয়।
