Let’s talk electrode boilers. 🔥 And more specifically: #highvoltage hot water boilers. Elpanneteknik’s unique software, combined with a start-up time less than 30 seconds from minimum to maximum load, enables the boilers to be used for #grid frequency balancing and for thermal energy storage. 💡 This provides opportunities to fend off price peaks, balancing renewable energy to the electrical grid. The almost maintenance free #highvoltage hot water boilers are therefore mostly used for city and district heating, rising the water temperatures from e.g. 60 °C to 90 °C. Want to know more?
