Expedia Group wanted their offices to reflect their company culture, so they unified their Sydney-based teams in one location and tasked Gensler with creating a vibrant, functional workspace. The new office features a central marketplace as the social hub, surrounded by flexible workspaces, numerous meeting rooms, and casual collaboration areas. The design emphasizes the social and cultural aspects of travel, with themes reflecting nature, urban exploration, and culinary experiences across different floors, linked by a striking timber and cement staircase.

This setup not only fosters collaboration but also celebrates the diverse aspects of travel, complete with social gatherings around food, coffee, and even ping-pong tournaments.

Based on a holistic rebranding concept by Amsterdam-based creative agency Forpeople, the interior of start-up company Formo, located in a historic warehouse on the banks of the River Spree in Berlin, is not only a place to work but also a home away from home for its employees.

After work, they like to relax over a beer, sometimes inviting friends or family. With future changes in the company's culture and size expected, Formo wanted to be prepared. Flexibility was therefore a key factor in developing the interior design concept.
