We are celebrating AUB Giving Day 2022 on Monday, December 5, 2022. We’re off to a terrific start!

Giving Day 2021, which you so generously supported, was a great success! We received support from alumni and friends in 42 countries in 2021 and raised more than $1.38 million. With your help, we know we can do even better in 2022. No gift is small. Any amount would help.

Our fundraising priorities this year are to raise money for student scholarships, needy patients seeking care at the medical center, and a solar energy initiative on campus. But, no matter the financial outcome, it’s really all about participation and our ability to unite our AUB community scattered around the globe behind one cause.

Meet your alumni board president! Reem Saleh received her B.A. from in Sociology-Anthropology in 2000. She returned to that year and started her career at the United Nations Development Programme. Later on, she pursued her Masters degree at the University of Nottingham in Cultural Studies and worked for many years at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. In 2014, Reem returned to Bahrain and worked at the Arab Regional Centre for World Heritage, a UNESCO Category 2 Centre for five years. She loves languages and is fluent in Arabic, English, Portuguese, French and Spanish. Reem is married and has 2 children.
