Medscape (3/24) reports that two studies presented at the European Association of Urology 2016 Congress examined the “consequences of American recommendations against routine screening for prostate cancer with the prostate-specific antigen (PSA).” The studies revealed that “recommending uniformly against PSA screening” may negatively affect diagnosis in both older and young men.
