Bahrain. Her home beauty salon and SPA has been growing more and more
and gives Bahrain residents who want to relax conservatively with an
elegant feeling of beauty with style! She tells us her story and gives
her advice to anyone who wants to enhance their beauty within their
home. My salon is called "Beauty Lines Salon". The name actually came with the
idea of airlines, mobility & shapes. I wanted to incorporate mobility
into the name. I thought of a list of names, but for some reason this
name stuck and I felt like it suited me the most. What made you start the mobile salon? I’ve loved fashion and experimenting with it ever since I was a child. For as long as I can remember I have always celebrated fashion. Whenever
I travel I like to try out the different trends and tradition to learn
about the culture. For such a long time I loved fashion and I wanted a
way to convey my passion through different ways. That’s when I decided
to start a mobile salon to share my interests directly in your home. As
soon as I started I knew it was the right thing, because I finally found
a perfect way to fulfill my love for beauty & relaxing atmospheres. What are the steps you had to take to get to where you are now? I started with Instagram @beautylines_bh and noticed that people were
interested in the beauty services I was proposing. People started
following me more and more which was great, and then of course I started
delivering my therapists in your home, which has been an exciting
journey ever since the beginning. I am now starting to work everywhere
in Bahrain. I also have a Whatsapp number 32 23 33 26 from where I
receive inquiries and answer directly. Within an hour, the beauty
therapist team is on site and turn any room of your home into a beauty
SPA...
How did you end up getting so many customers? I thought it was going to be difficult getting customers, but it wasn’t at all. I was surprised actually. It was organic so it all happened slowly and gradually, but at some point I was getting customers on a daily basis. Everyday I get new demands. It’s really exciting as we immediately answer their call of beauty! What kind of feedback do you get from your clients? I’m really grateful for my customers, as everyone’s been really supportive and encouraging. People always write nice feedback and share their interests in return. There’s a lot of interactivity, which is fun. I’m really happy that people find me approachable, so people spot me and come up to me sometimes in the mall or anywhere, which makes me really happy. They say the nicest things. I feel so humbled because of their support. To me, that’s the best thing; it’s extremely rewarding. What makes Beauty Lines Salon stand out? The one thing where I stand out is that is one of the very few mobile salon geared towards SPA and Beauty. What a lot of people tell me, which I found to be surprising, is that my salon isn’t just for people who have no time to go to local salon, but many other people who would like to stay home and find my massages inspiring as well, which to me is amazing. I like that I can appeal to a wide audience. My salon started recently with affordable pricelist witch is probably the main thing that differentiates myself from other salons. It’s so different from taking your car and drive into the traffic to local salon and loose lot of time and energy to start your days or evenings. It’s really exciting, because I already have customers who are booking beauty & SPA services regularly and waiting for my next massage style or beauty creams. How is Bahrain’s salon scene evolving? The beauty salon scene is definitely growing tremendously in Bahrain as well as in the middle-east. There are a lot of new customers, in demand for relaxation technics, and just personalities in general that are quite stressed. I think it’s nice that in Bahrain we’re slowly becoming more adaptable and modern. The fashion in Bahrain is definitely evolving, as people are finding what suits them personally. I love supporting locals, so it’s always exciting when there’s a new local fashion brand that’s coming out. I think we should also embrace, support, and encourage these new designers, whether they are doing a fashion show or doing a new launch. We need more local talent. What is the beauty community in like Bahrain? There’s a hand-full of beauticians in Bahrain, and they are growing everyday. People are sharing their beauty tips all the time, even just microblogs on Instagram or video on youtube. We are all connected over whatsapp, and we chat regularly. We try to hold meetings as much as possible and we enjoy going to beauty events together with my beauticians to show our support and often cover the event. We all encourage each other to be who we are and to openly express our beauty styles. I have been following a few of the salons since before I began my mobile salon, and they were actually the ones who pushed me to start my own. You don’t see this kind of encouragement anywhere else. Most salon around the world are extremely competitive, but in Bahrain the community is like a family and everyone is so supportive. Who are some of your greatest inspirations? One of my favorite, which is based in Dubai. I also really love international style. Another one of my inspirations is found in Hotel and SPA, because I think their styles are very elegant. I also love the Nature. There are so many places who are so stylish and relaxing in Bahrain where I look up to.
