Cobb salad is quite versatile and serves as a complete meal. I changed the ingredients a little by replacing, for example, Roquefort cheese with Mozzarella, which was what I had at home at the time. You can use other types of cheese such as Prato and Port Salut. Also replace watercress with iceberg lettuce. Here's the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 head of iceberg lettuce cut into strips (like we do with cabbage, but the width of a finger)
1 avocado cut into cubes – Make sure it’s not too ripe.
150g mozzarella or cheese of your choice, cubed
3 chopped boiled eggs
1 boneless chicken breast, cooked and cut into slices
50g fried and crispy bacon cubes – I made them in the microwave
2 tomatoes, diced + 10 cherry tomatoes cut in half – I had them left over, you can choose just one of the two.
Line a medium-sized platter or salad bowl with the chopped lettuce, and then make rows with the other ingredients, as shown in the photo, spread the bacon croutons on top. You can decorate with finely chopped green scent, I forgot to add it.
For the sauce:
1/2 cup of water
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1 tablespoon of honey
1/2 cup olive oil
Salt and black pepper to taste
In a bowl, mix everything and place over the salad or serve separately.
Follow-up:
Flatbread toast with garlic paste, mozzarella, oregano.
