📖Third Grade B students have been working on different textual genres and, like the incredible authors they are, they have put together some of their best productions to build their own magazine!

📖 They wrote Persuasive Texts like advertisements and opion essays, as well as articles that teach how to do different types of things!

📖 In addition to being writers, they are also illustrators! Each student was responsible for creating a stripe for a friend's text.

📖 They put a lot of love into this magazine and it's finally ready! We hope you like it!

From lost sheep roaming the halls to students using video game boxes as backpacks, Spirit Week was a whirlwind of fun and creativity!

Explorer for a Day
Just like the Early European Explorers, the Year 3 B children went on an expedition. During an immersive activity, they explored the Rio International School continent with the task of finding natural resources, man-made resources and animals to renew the flora and fauna of their home country.
They navigated, explored and got to know the school environment with their recyclable binoculars like never before! They observed the people and their customs, the vegetation, the animals and much more.
Everything was written down by them in their explorer's notebook, in addition to having traced the entire route taken by their navigation on a map of our school.
Learning can be fun too!

We are thrilled to announce that Rio International School has successfully renewed its COGNIA ACCREDITATION, achieving our highest score ever! This accomplishment is a testament to our continuous growth and improvement as an educational institution.

For those who may be unfamiliar, COGNIA is a global nonprofit organization that provides accreditation and certification to schools, districts, and education providers. It assesses various aspects of an institution, including its educational programs, leadership, resources, and overall performance against rigorous standards.

Easter celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which is the heart of Christian faith.

It's not just about remembering His death for our sins, but also celebrating His victory over death, showing us that life triumphs.

This event is crucial because it proves Jesus's sacrifice worked, it promises us our own resurrection, and it means Jesus is still working for us and with us.

Believing in Jesus's resurrection is essential; it's what makes us Christians and gives us hope for eternal life and joy with God.
