After 3 years, it's time to take a chill and refresh the look and feel of the kiosk. That and to congratulate Shanay on the birth of her baby and wish Allyson well in then upcoming birth of her twins. When half of the staff is on or about to go on Maternity leave- looks like a good time for everyone to take a break.
So we'll dd some paint, refresh the work surfaces and do that kind of stuff until Thursday Aug 23 and re-open.

and now for something new...Our Italian Gelato chef has relocated to Eleuthera- I wish I could join him- so we've modified our frozen treat offering to work with Nestle and provide children and adult frozen treats. Also we now have freshly made gourmet popcorn in regular or large bag formats. We also added all beef 8" hot dogs! Wow, are they good and so much betteer than the run-of-the-mill hot dog vendor dog. We offer 6"chicken dogs for the health conscious or children. Come in and give it a try. OUr trend setting healthy juices and smoothies are always available and so good as the weather warms up.

Update.. the cabinetry for the pizza addition is about finished. We should be starting pizza by September 10. What types of pizza would you like? Veg? Pepperoni? Tell me about your favourite 10”pizza..

From down at the bottom of the street, Linda our neighbor has given us some beautiful Star apples (Carambola). Add a couple of strawberries and you have a world class smoothie! Crisp and refreshing just fantastic. They are high in antioxidants and Vit C; low in sugar and sodium. Try one - just great from "the tree of life"

Now, this is neat! Saturday we've got great fresh - I'll make it in the morning- guacamole and chips to go with those fantastic pink lemonade coolers. It's really really good - but only about 50 prtions will be made- it's that fresh!

Forgot, those cooling fruit sticks (hunks of fresh fruit on a skewer) will be offered, too and only for $1. Can't be beat..

This weekend BAARK will host a puppy event at Town Centre. It'll be from noon to 5 pm sooo what we'll do is offer our great 4" cheese/basil bread with a 12 oz switcher or slushie (water or tea) with our delicious ham and swiss for only $6.25. Roast Beef or chicken is slightly higher at $6.75. Come, bring the kids and get the BTS shopping and enjoy!

Golly Gee --it's hot! We're offering - while it lasts- a great lemon-lime gelato. Talk about good! Cools you down and refreshes but it's going fast. That's the way with Specialty products. Man oh Man, dat be sum kinda good

Also we start with Panini Pressed sandwiches - ham, chicken breast or roast beef, and fresh salads on Saturday. I've got the orange iced tea down for a new drink, too! I know we'll learn from our friends and customers to make it just right.

We welcome Marie to the staff of the Juice Tree. Marie comes from the Four Seasons in Exuma and joins us Saturday. Hi and welcome Marie!

I was told at staff meeting today that fruit k- bobs as a name does not fly. The kids ask for fruit sticks so fruit sticks is is for now. Any other creative ideas as to what to call them?

So, the guys and gals have been thinking... what's better than something cool, refreshing, healthy and on a stick? So, we've come up with Fruit-K-Bobs! Hunks of fresh fruit- pineapple, watermelon, cantelope, etc. etc etc on a wooden skewer- chilled and just $1. That's only while supplies last each Saturday- good and try it with a squeeze of lime- Wow ! Hopefully Eleuthera watermelons soon come!

Sports Locker is having a great Mother's Day sale going on this weekend, too.

Woman 2 Woman is at the Town Centre Mall tomorrow. It’s a great collection of booths with people interested in helping woman’s issues. The juice Tree is offering a special on Bahamian Switcher (Limeade) freshly squeezed right in front of you. It’s so refreshing on a hot day. Also like Stacia says –off the chains- Mango Peach smoothies! Come in – enjoy Woman2Woman – and have healthy refreshment!

I'm in Jamaica for a Rotary conference and found the best chips- sweet potato, banana, plantain etc by a Jamaican producer. I understand the new uniforms at the Juice Tree are a big hit.

If we double - to 12 flavours of Gelato offered- what additional flavours would anybody like. I need 3.5 lb of any fruit to make a 5 litre fruit gelato. So any backyard fruit out there which wishes to become gelato? I'm thinking soursop, dilly and would really love custard apple - except maybe not "punchy" enough. Then we get crazy with flavours - chicken s***e gelato anyone ;)

On Friday gone, we taste tested both thick and thin with each crust with pepperoni and one with a sauté of diced eggplant, onion, zucchini, garlic and herbs. Each was great on either of the crusts. Pepperoni is pepperoni – but still my favourite on a thin crust - but the veg pizza was OUTSTANDING! I think I made a deal today to make our pizza crusts and Panini breads in house. – Maybe we can retail those as well!

Working hard on the expansion to offer fresh healthy pizza, salads and panini. Soon come!

Had an Apple/ Orange smoothie a couple of days ago - one of Dorinda's special creations - really refreshing. Who would have thought???

The worlds most addictive cookie. Amazing how something so simple can be so dog gone good. Doesn't look like much on the plate- but a bit of heaven on the tongue.

This photo shows the juicer- carrots - or whatever - goes in one end and just juice comes out the other. Nothing added , nothing taken away. The pulp is discarded out the clear tube and can be recycled for mulch, animal food and such. Pretty cool. Try the Waldorf Salad- (apple & celery) or make up what you want. If you bring fresh produce from Lucayan Tropical Market - upper level parking lot Farmer's Market- we'll juice whatever you bring for only $2.

Day 2 on facebook.. wowie. Right now we do Blueberry muffins and either carrot craisin or pineapple banana. Any thoughts on some new and different creations? That's what we want the backyard produce for - fresh interesting and new muffin additions as well as to juice.

Produce? If you've got backyard produce- we want it! I traded some compost for some Paw-Paws a bit ago and am looking for Mango, guava, zucchini and all that for our new juices and coming soon our salads, pizza and Panini. email us at [email protected]
